  • Clever stuff .... who tuned the screechy pipe things though??

  • man i used to wait (for ages sometimes) in the taverns in baldurs gate 2 just to hear this, so i could try and play it on my penny whistle. cant believe i stumbled on it here. thanks so much for posting.

  • 0:12 Uh who farted?

  • This video was filmed in 1197, with a 1 ton wooden camera which quickly engraved the picture using a magnifying glass that concentrated rays of light to burn a roll of goat parchment using the energy of a mule who turned around a wheel... kidding.

  • @agormanvideos Fantastic comment !! Made me laugh it did!! (all in the best possible taste though)

  • Bro, look that song on the game folder

  • Check our dark medieval song

  • Loved this game, first R.P.G. game I can remember where you could actually own a house (which is pretty standard these days.) Admittedly it was built by a Kobold, in an underground dungeon and was smaller than a room in many normal homes, but thats besides the point, I got my house just as promised!

  • It's not medieval, it's from the Renaissance.

  • this is a tavern music from baldur's gate 2 too.. without door crack

  • 1:20 vikings FTW

  • lol what the **** happens at 0:12 lol

  • @TheBelzebuddha sounds like monstrous fart

  • @TheBelzebuddha This music was recorded directly from gameplay footage of the game (Descent To Undermountain), where 0:12 is the sound of a door creak :)

  • @PHXxX Blaming a fart you made on a door is even less believable than blaming it on your dog

  • @valcaron Well, for all we know the developers may have used the sound of a fart for the door soundeffect ;) Hehehe

  • @valcaron -- That gets my vote as POST OF THE YEAR!

    Bravo my Friend!

  • @PHXxX well, i wanna get that game now!

  • @TheBelzebuddha HAHAHHAA.... made my day

  • @TheBelzebuddha Someone is using the castle bathroom, i think its Arthur the brave kkkkkkk

  • @TheBelzebuddha it's a fard, man...

  • @TheBelzebuddha

    hahahah :'D

  • @TheBelzebuddha My take on that sound is that it were a catapult launching dead decaying cows at their enemies

  • @TheBelzebuddha seems the sound of farts

  • @TheBelzebuddha lol it sounds like a starting motorcycle...lol

  • @TheBelzebuddha a dry short fart

  • @TheBelzebuddha havent u played skrim its a forge :D

  • @NeonicProductions I'm playing FF1 for gba. maybe much better than a videogame whose title reminds of a make-up tool for girl. "Did you put your skyrim on?" "Nope" "Here, use mine" *girl-dies

  • @TheBelzebuddha i didnt understand any of that :D

  • @NeonicProductions You wish you didn't, actually. :D

  • makes me wanna play stronghold 2 now X)

  • Thumbs up if you finished descent to undermountain!

  • Was surprised to listen it, That remind me BGII, ~Memories~ Didn't know that it was coming from another game btw

  • very pretty 0:44. oh, and the music is good too.

  • Nice. Do you know where can I find more music from Descent to Undermountain? I can't find anywhere. As you said, the game was crap, but the music was very good..

  • @lppmor try looking for baldur's gate or baldur's gate 2 soundtrack. not sure if there is a way to rip music out of the game cd.

  • This same track was also used in a couple taverns in Baldur's Gate 1.

I believe Bereghost's tavern, the one in the southwestern quadrant of the city, used it.

  • That's correct, but it was first originally used in Descent To Undermountain back in 1997, before Baldur's Gate was released in 1998.

And because of the extremely short period of time the developers were given to make the game, the low budget and poor reception of the game in general, some of the unfinished production of DTU was bought out by the developers of BG, I think :)

  • @TwelveFortySix thank you for this comment, I would have gone mental if I hadn't found out!!1

  • @TwelveFortySix I noticed this immediately. The time that i have spent beating the Baldur's Gate series in the three times that I have is pretty redic.

  • Great!♫♫ Need a beer now....

  • Hehehe, cheers mate! \m/
