  • hello i have a 7 week old rottie , does it matter that i didint wait a few more weeks to take him home?

  • @alcs00 They are supposed to go home at 8 weeks, one week early probably wont hurt. Any earlier wouldnt be good, im not an expert but from my experience puppies that are taken away from their moms early tend to have behavier problems. But like i said 1 week probably wont hurt.

  • ey i bought a house training book and its not that good. Im thinking of buying your but i am hesistant. is it reallyi 100% fool proof?

  • @dabul2003 Check out Housetraining Handbook dot com. It has a money back guarantee.

  • @eletendre1 I just bought your book but why is it a subscription? i just neeeded a book for housetraining. i cant afford to pay $!0 a month. can you help me?

  • I've had a problem with every dog I've ever had. When I say "sit" they sit. When I say "down" they lie down. If they are already laying down and I say "sit" they don't move. It's like they know how to go from standing to sitting and they know how to go from sitting to laying but don't know how to from laying to sitting. Any tips for teaching them how to do that?

  • Your TV episodes really helped me alot im a new pet owner and i was very younge when i had a dog

  • Eric im so glad i found your videos! your a life saver. I am currently house training my new shih tzu puppy and she eats everything outside like leafs, rocks, bugs, and even her poop! I constantly have to take things out of her mouth. How do I prevent her from doing this?

  • hi.

do you have a PDF format of your book?? i live in spain and i need a fast solution to house train my 5 months old lab.

    thanks

  • Hello sr. What do you suggest me too buy a German shepherd or a Labrador retriever?

  • I have a mini dachshund and i cnt get him to lie down. Evry time i put the treat down to the floor he can reach it with his nose coz he's so low to the ground.

    Do you have any tips?

  • @phonecard01 Hey I'm not Eric, but what I would do is slowly move the treat towards his chest/belly as you put it down to encourage him to bend.

  • Eric, loved the video, but wondered if that trick is recommended for my beagle-dachshund mix. She's very long, as you can probably see by the video, and I wonder about injury of her back. Just wondered what you think. She's very quick and very active. Thanks! JoAnne

  • @sparky21493 Thanks for your question. I've taught this trick to Dachshunds and they were fine but, if you think it may cause problems I would check with your vet. Good luck!

  • Cool

  • i want to buy that book

  • @de1dezire You can buy the book at Lulu dot com. Type Amazing Dog Training Man in the search bar and you'll find the book. Thanks for asking!

  • Great video eric, how many treats is recomended per day to use on a dog at a maximum?

  • @Morongotongo123 All depends on the size of the dog. If I am doing a lot of training I'll cut back on breakfast or dinner.

  • i have an 80 pound dog and I'm trying it and he just sits and blankly stares at my hand. then i bring it down to his nose and he opens it to get the treat, but he won't beg for it. How do you get a bigger dog to beg? I have taught him how to high five and shake hands along with all the basics, but he can't seem to do the "sit pretty" command.

  • where can i find your book? does it have potty training? i think my dogs need to learn how to hold there pee in, if that is possible
