It's going to be an excellent series, and is long overdue, even if the idea of a zombie series was George Romero's idea initially. That aside, a series wil allow the story and many other stories evolve at a more lucid and reflective rate. I'm looking forward not only to a real (I hope) examination of a zombie apocylipse, but also how such a thing will effect the living that remain. Personally, the slower the batter for me.

Interesting to see what happens when the bullets run out.

@esfelectra I compare running zombies to sparkling vampires for one main reason. In both cases, someone took a long established monster, and decided to improve them by changing one of their defining characteristics. I do agree, sparklepires are much worse, but that doesn't make running zombies any less wrong. The horror factor for walking zombies is in their relentlessness. Sure, you might outrun that pack of zombies, but you will get tired eventually. They won't.

It will be interesting to see if a series about zombies can sustain both an audience and a story line. the comics are cool but there were alot of slow moments in between the action that might get lost in the translation. some of the plots (comic) are a little too gruesome to be used on TV.

After that their similarities disappear; one is about a rage-infected populace and the few survivors on Britain. The other is about a larger group of people survivng a world filled with the traditional zombies.

Tell me about it, the comics are addicting. I bought Book One from my local used Bookstore. It was the only copy there. After reading it, I was like I "really" need to find out what's gonna happen next, so I had to download the .pdf series off of Pirate Bay. Yeah it's illegal, but I'm slowly buying the graphic novel series on Ebay in return. The comics are just that damn good! I'm wondering how the series will turnout though. Alot of added characters like the 2 ex-cons that meet up with Grimes.
