Actually it was in my reality. Del Potro beat Gonzalez in 2009 twice actually, mister joshuanaconda.

And Del potro was 53-16 comparing to Gonzalez who was 39-16 in 2009.

14 more wins is still a considerable difference. Thats like winning 3 more tournaments. Plus Juan Martin won a grand slam at hardly 21 years of age, also in 2009. Something that Gonzalez will never do. All facts are against you.

Actually, they are not. You failed to mention that he only has defeated Gonzalez once while he has lost 3 times against him. You also forgot to mention that one of your victory claims was actually a tied set 1-1 with Gonzalez stoping the match due to a severe injury. The fact is that Gonzalez started getting old in 2008 and lots of players have defeated him since then. You also forgot to mention that Gonzalez has 188 more victories on tour than del potro and more tittles.

Gonzalez beat him 3 times at first, but did you check when? Del Potro was 17 years old in their first match (he was still a junior). 2nd match they played he was 18 years old (still a junior) and the last match he beat him del potro was 18 years and 5 months old

Fernando Gonzalez is a very humble and honest person, He get's angry.. yes, many players do but he is no cheat for sure and happens to have the strongest and most amazing forehand in the history of the sport

@joshuanaconda Sampras' FH was better because it was more consistent. Lendl's was arguably better for the same reason. But Gonzalez has the shots to be a top-five player, except maybe his serve and returns. Otherwise he has the goods.

Gonzalez forehand is very consistent when he is not injured and way, way more powerfull than sampras, in fact, he has the world records with Monfilis on the strongest forehand ever hit and in the top 6 of the most ammount of winners with that shoot and he still has 2 more years on tour to improve that record

@joshuanaconda I didn't say he couldn't hit it harder. There were guys on the tour when Sampras was in his prime who could rip it harder. The point is very few have or had Sampras' combination of power and precision. Besides, Gonzalez uses the juiced babolats compared to Sampras' 6.0 85. Considering the difference between sticks makes Sampras' ability even greater. Monfils is even less consistent but he will hit an incredible FH winner every now and then.

Did you know Gonzalez has beaten 9 number 1 players while they were at numer 1 ? .. Hewitt, Safin, Rodick, Sampras, Federer, Nadal, Ferrero, Moya and Kuerten. There was a crucial break point for Blake during a rally and he hit a good high shot and Gonzalez touched it with his racket for sure, which is why the shot went out, but it was really fast so no one really noticed at the time, but Gonzalez swears he didn't touch the ball. After the match it's shown he really did touch the ball. You know when you've touched the ball with you racket and thats why I feel like he cheated.
