@ncsu1717 you will be eating your words when he has success like every 5 star pg that goes to play for Calipari, the PG genius, he'll be making nba paper
@emwals01 Exactly. 5 stars. If you think it's Cal's coaching that sends guys like Wall, Rose, Evans etc to the NBA...then I want some of what you're smoking. They all would have been drafted out of High School if they could have been in it. Ryan Harrow already has NBA level ball skills. He just needs to put on size. I'll say this, he's the worst PG prospect Cal has recruited. Comparing him to Wall, Rose, Evans, Knight or any recent Cal PG's Harrow is on the bottom. Better get tough quick.
@Majorbludd817 Of course Wall rose and Evans would all have been to nba eventually anyway, but Cal improved their draft position i bet and made them better players. Evan's wasn't even pg at the beginning of the year and was moved over. What about Josh Harrellson, I don't even think he was a 3 star prospect, went from being nobody to a great player, and drafted 2nd round, and was getting good PT for the Knicks in his first year, and had a couple double double games before injury
@Majorbludd817 Harrow may not have the potential the others did, but he will be great, a year playing with the team in practice, and battling Teague,
And he was the best choice for pg our of the class, meaning if he was in the 2012 hs class he would be the best pg available. It's a pg weak 2012 class, so a transfer is great to have, espcially of his caliber. He made the right choice, and if he'd played under cal his first year i bet he'd had better numbers that he did at nc st
@Dre1896 In the long run after Harrow grows into his body and matures I think he'll be more successful in the NBA than Louis Williams. I dont think Louis has what he takes to really be an elite or even All Star level player in the NBA. It's just going to take Ryan Harrow time to adjust at each level (College and then NBA since I believe he will make it). Once he adjust to the college game and gets stronger and more agressive it's over.

First off, lets hope that the kid gains weight. Secondly, I his game highly resembles that of Ishamel Smith's. They are both electric ball handlers with immense quickness, but they don't devastate you with their shots. They are capable of creating, not dominating. He isn't quite the playmaker that Ishmael is yet, but that can improve with his time at NC.
I don't think Louis does either. I'm not sure I see what skill Ryan has that will make him an All Star though. Once Ryan adjusts, he has a chance to make the league, but he has great drawbacks to deal with.
@mikeballa2001 interesting thing is they are both from the Atlanta Metro area.. just different sides. I first heard about Louis Williams in '99 when I was in 7th grade. Somebody was saying he was better than me and I was saying "no the hell he aint"... because Id never seen him play. LMAO.. lets just say I was wrong. Ryan Harrow has a purer, more all around game though. Louis Williams is an explosive scorer and he grew into his body earlier... thats why he was able to go straight to the NBA.
this kids not even close to an nba player

@mikeballa2001
Not really. He plays more like Ish Smith. He's not the scorer that Lou Williams is although they look alike.
