  • @NeCacaluXuxultic Oh no, the Shoshones! The Indians who... converted to Mormonism of their own free will. How horrible.

Oh yeah, that's TOTALLY comparable to Nazis forcibly removing Jews from their homes, packing them into trains, starving them, working them to the bone, experimenting on them, and murdering them by the millions. You pathetic little worm. Go wallow in your hatred elsewhere.

  • @NeCacaluXuxultic So the entire basis of your Nazi comparisons are BLATANT LIES. For one, NOWHERE is there a drop of "Indians couldn't have built this!" in our history. Even if there WERE such a thing going on, which is the precise OPPOSITE of the truth (respect for the "Indians," certainly moreso than the average white had at the time, is what they were ACTUALLY known for according to even non-LDS historians), it wouldn't validate comparisons to Nazis and the Holocaust. You're being absurd.

  • @NeCacaluXuxultic All you're posting is a load of vulgarity, juvenile insults, and absurd comparisons that bring to mind Godwin's Law and illustrate how poor your grasp on logic, history, and even thread relevance (why post HERE??). You've got this ridiculous notion that Mormons are known for being anti-Native American or something which is nonsense; in actuality, they were KNOWN for befriending some even to the point where certain other white folk - bigots, like you - attacked them for it.

  • @NeCacaluXuxultic You disgusting little bigoted troll and YouTube comment stalker, do you not even understand the basics of online conversation and comment threads? This is NOT the place for your personal little vendetta against me and those who dare believe in things you do not. And now you equate it to Nazism? It's like you're TRYING to come off as a hateful small-minded fool. You're a despicable worm. Go wallow in your hatred elsewhere and stop dragging me into your diatribes.

  • You are a liar and a thief.

And you redistribution-of-wealth rob-Peter-to-pay-Paul scumbags are totally off on your figures. watch?v=661pi6K-8WQ

“When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic.”

    — Benjamin Franklin

  • Your sums are wrong,

the value of the derivatives market alone, which is based on property agreed to pay loans is 700 trillion.

    / 300 million (population)

    = 2333.3.

The real value is likely to be much much higher as one would have to factor in all the property which is not mortgaged.

You should all be millionaires and them some, billions each is probably closer to the mark.

1% own 43% of the financial wealth alone.

    80% own 7%.

If USA taxed like EU each American would be $8k pa better off.

  • Is this a joke? Was there sarcasm here that I missed? This video is saying it's ok to steal from your employers because they don't deserve the wealth they have. As the son of a veternarian who had her accountant steal 400,000 dollars from her over a 15 year period I find this very offensive. Many people, like my mother, own a buisness because they are motivated, intelligent, hard working, and patient. My mother inherited nothing, went to school for 7 years.

  • This doesn't exactly look like its going to be a "revolution"......it might just point out the idiots when they assume enough people will do it that they'll get away with stealing from the people who provided them with jobs in the first place...

  • Can a positive workplace exist when we can't even trust each other to not steal from one another?

Is it really every man for himself?

I will end up working in an industry where lack of trust means being blacklisted from doing business, and that means no money for anyone, including employees.

There should be a better solution to this than just taking what you feel like taking. What if your boss decided to not give you a paycheque because he didn't feel like it? It's the same damn thing.

  • "My boss works half as hard as me" Well maybe he worked 3x as hard as you to get to the position he's at. Maybe.

Steal from your workplace, thereby driving up the cost of goods at your company, or driving down the chances of employees getting a raise. Not so smart an idea.

Try April 15 "Don't Go to Work Day". IMO more effective.

  • ethics? wtf are you talking about? Who's values? Why should slaves obey the dictates and hypocritical morals of those controlling us?

  • Every job ive ever had i used to give away sooo much free stuff, if companies knew my heart... they'd never hire me

  • i would!

  • I'm going for MY Swingline Red Stapler.

  • I think we are all slaves to scarcity. We need a system which makes scarcity illegal. I believe this will dramatically increase America's standard of living.

  • yeah, thats just what we need, all the shit we can consume and then some. And we'd still want more.

  • ...because wanting things is bad.

  • When we live on a planet of FINITE resources...yes wanting so much crap that we really don't need is bad. Its bad for life on earth because its bad for the earth itself. We can just keep taking and taking. There is a logical conclusion to that act...

  • genius. Crimethinc are modern heroes! The real modern Emma Goldmans!

More useful and efficient than a hundred marches or strikes and a million petitions.

    Rob those fuckers blind!

  • Okay wow, you stole a stapler, sooo AnArChYyY. What's next throw molitov cocktails in an abandoned parking lot day? Vandalize public property day? Also I'll steal from work whenever the fuck I want. fuck crimethinc.

  • pretty god dam good

  • Not funny. I'm amazed at the amount of agreement on this forum.

Your own pride and integrity is worth more than the glee of turning into a petty thief.

Besides, how many of these people here work for small companies? A lot, I would imagine.

Apparently they don't know that when they clock out, they are a hell of a lot freer at that point than the small business owner.

HE works 24/7 - even if it is only in his head, planning, worrying, deciding...

    Grow up, people.

  • "HE works 24/7 - even if it is only in his head, planning, worrying, deciding.."

Ignorance is bliss... to the ignorant.

My first thoughts were Anarchy but with consideration, the definition of anarchy does not mean/include petty theft. I just see further erosion of peoples liberties and privacy if this was to take place.

  • @jayc2469 - ANARCHY: 1530s, from M.L. anarchia, from Gk. anarkhia "lack of a leader," noun of state from anarkhos "rulerless," from an- "without" + arkhos "leader"

That's the original meaning of the word. It has been transformed to mean "lawlessness, chaos, disorder". (An oft-used trick of NLP by sly mutation of word definitions")

If people would rule themselves, we would have no need for, nor tolerance of, corrupt, cruel, nanny-style state governments, or "leaders".

    True freedom.

  • wimp! OK, let's do nothing or write letters to our senators cos we're afraid of losing our "liberties". What liberties?

Sorry dude. Life in capitalism is class warfare and there's no place for neutral paries.

  • donHolligan (who apparently has mistaken me for someone else) asks: "you still sendin out e-mail and beggin for money?"

    Dox or STFU, don.

  • dox or STFU, dood.

I love it when someone comes along and accuses me of what HE is doing behind everyone's back.

You know...like... "Guilty dogs bark loudest"?

    dox or STFU.

  • auciker is missing the fucking point. ignorance is pride.

  • At Ford Motors, the workers themselves fought to keep the unions out for nearly 40 years because they were over-payed and received great benefits. The unions eventually moved in after Henry Ford became paranoid and delusional, and scaled back pay and benefits.

The moral of the story is: Take care of your employees, and they will take care of you.

Steal Something From Word Day only makes you a thief.

If you want "your fair share", and you think you can build a better business, do it!

  • Deaths*Lobby

Welcome my friend to the lobby that never mends,

Credit and debt, corporate agendas always met,

Airways, waterways, public health, trash it all to build our wealth,

Welcome my friend to the power and greed which rapes your future, to fulfill our lobbyist needs,

As we ship your jobs overseas, America bleeds through halfway measures and legislative deeds.

    Unite the C.H.A.O.S.

  • OMG Awesome!!!

  • Sounds good to me

  • Now I have to get job to do this.

  • I'm over-worked and under-paid. I steal from work everyday to compensate for what I think the company owes me. Fuck 'em. They don't give a flying fuck if my daughter has food to eat, or if my gas gets shut off.

  • shit, i steal from work everyday. its april 15th everyday for me.

    fuck work.

  • LOL. I like it.

  • Why designate a specific day to steal from work? If bosses catch wind of this, wont they keep an extra keen eye out for stealing? Noobs >_>

  • if you are a business owner, do you get to steal from your employees?

  • @DeraJa yes its called PAYE in england lol

  • business owners have been stealing from workers for decades, dont kid yourself!

  • Business owners always steal from thier workers. That's how capitalism works. The business owner gets the profits of the workers' labor. That was the point of this video.

  • why do so many employees continue to enter into all these exploitative relationships? It doesn't seem very rational.

  • Because they must. What else are they going to do to feed thier kids, pay the rent, get health insurance, etc.

Rational? Is it rational to starve? Is it rational to get evicted?

Our whole society is based on wage slavery. So naturally there will be more slaves than there are masters. Not everyone can open thier own business.

  • Perhaps, wage slavery is the most effecient system producing , and allocating resources. Which is why it is so common. Perhaps what you are arguing for is an irrational, ineffecient ideal.

  • Right, because effeciency trumps human decency. Give me effeciency or give me death.

  • keep in mind, the standard of living in America has been increased radically under the regime of wage slavery.

  • Fuck the American standard of living. Do you realise that the "first world's" standard of living is the reason for the "third world's" standard of living?

  • @fightfascistpigs really ?then explain why the 3rd world was shit b4 america?

also u ever hear of england ..u stupid commie? ever hear about what theyve done?

also get off your lazy ass and do something then! thats how america was built..bunch of guys didnt want to pay taxes to a king! sounds to me like your kind of people! THE only fascist is you ..what if i dont like your system? what you gonna do? same shit these p[igs do..force it on me! youre no diff.. go fuck yourself FASCIST!

  • If the wealth of the United states was diveded among everybody, everyone would have a minus sign before their accounts.

  • Not quite true.

  • Watch out, Obama might get wind of this and steal the White House.

  • wow i would have tought the amount of reply , wow , who would ever tought , well i should start stealing right away then , on the other side you know what , No , fucking way i would steal this deliberalty, i do take stuff form my day job , but it only becaus its not for use anymor and it takespace we need , but at my other job i would neverdare takefrom my boss , hes my friend , my employer andsomeone i respect very much all my current boss were notbornrich they had to work hard toweretheyarenow

  • Fuck yeah SSFWD. I'm in.

  • I WONDER HOW MUCH THAT CAMERA COST

  • I can't believe all this victims saying: ''I would but my boss exploits me real gently''.

  • Refused...svv33t.

  • Also, they've recently passed laws in my own home town that require permits and fees that make it ridiculously impossible for the common person to grow and sell their own produce.

  • Not really a reliable source of income when you don't even have a yard, which is a good chunk of the population. And I'm not even going to get into the prospects of some of the world's slum dwellers starting their own backyard farms; that's just laughable!

  • crucial word: anyone (with) their own yard can farm.

i think is largely feasible if only to augment income earned elsewhere.

  • Expropriation Day! That is what I'm waiting for.

  • WOO STEAL SOMETHING FROM WORK DAY!!!!

  • This may cause some discord. Eris approves.

  • Ummmm no, because you need capital to start with, what if I don't have a back yard or tools to work for myself.

  • You see, to succeed in life you need to actually spend the time and work hard. Sorry to break it to you. Advocating theft and initiation of force is not going to do anything except result in lower wages at your place of employment. I understand the frustration many people feel, but this should be directed at government, not at employers involved in a voluntary agreement of exchange of value.

  • NO! You don't need to work hard, you need to be born rich. Initiation of force on inanimate objects? - You crazy women?!? Who orders you what to do for the one third of your life is your government!

Theft is what you make of it! - that is my new motto

  • Sweet motto, bro. ;)

All these people bitching about petty theft from the workplace obviously don't fucking get it. Who is it that steals our time and money from us? Who steals natural resources from those who cannot fight back? Who steals the pristine landscapes and turns them into ruins and dollars? The motherfuckers I'm stealing toilet paper from, that's who!

  • I assume you wouldn't support computer manufacturers, Google, or the high-speed internet providers either right?

  • I assume you wouldn't support soldiers, Department of Defense or the killing women and children for oil either right?

If sun's nuclear fusion is capitalistic does that makes me a hypocrite being alive?

  • People don't become magically corrupted when they enter government. It is a long process essential to functions of capitalism. The biggest private business is the state.

  • "People don't become magically corrupted when they enter government. " You're right, but when they enter government they are given a monopoly on force. The free market is the place where people are "forced" to act in a voluntary, win-win manner. A private business is interested in providing solutions when and if you want help. Government steals from you, lays down arbitrary non-voluntary rules for everyone. There is a very real difference between voluntary and non-voluntary interactions.

  • Define me your property rights and how they will be protected ant tell me that is not essentially function of the state. You can't! Only you ''anarcho'' - capitalists can't see that in the whole fucking world!

  • I would say "property" is something you have either a) bought from someone else using stored/representative value (currency) or b) if the object in question currently does not belong to someone, such as a plot of land, then that land/object must have been significantly altered and in current use for it be protected. How it is protected would be a matter for a court/courts/thefreemarket to decide. P.S. SMILE! Life is short :)

  • You can't be born with property then?

  • That is essentially a social-contract! You lose.

  • Absolutely right.

Now this is the part where you say "ZOMG HIPPOCRIT!!!!!11111oneleven"

And then I say: No, dumbass.. Don't you think the black slaves picking cotton on the plantation were against the plantation? If the only tools you have to use to free yourself are the master's tools, then that's what you use until there is no master and therefor no more need for his tools.

  • "Don't you think the black slaves picking cotton on the plantation were against the plantation?" The only thing forcing you into this system is the government taxation system. If you didn't have to use their currency to pay their "service fees", you could absolutely choose to live outside the money economy. Why would you be against private business while ignoring the ultimate cause of your suffering?

  • True, but the largest corporations benefit from the existence of the state; it's a symbiotic relationship. If there is no state, there is no one to enforce the 'land as property' credo, which is the foundation of industrialized civilization.

  • "True, but the largest corporations benefit from the existence of the state; it's a symbiotic relationship. If there is no state, there is no one to enforce the 'land as property' credo, which is the foundation of industrialized civilization. " I agree with you about corporations. If you are interested, I suggest you look up the user Stefbot on Youtube. Also, anarcho-capitalist arguments might solve the problem of no state for you. We don't need a government. Period.

  • Rofl. You ''anarcho''- capitalists should invent banner saying: ''Internet, the requiting place for looser like us''.

We don't need any private bureaucrat between us and the market, stealing the fruits of your labour.

  • I am not an anarcho-capitalist per-se, but an empiricist first and foremost. Logic and reason point to the validity of the arguments against the state for for free markets, therefore I support them. Your childish outbursts are a waste of time unless you provide a reasoned argument to support your assertions. When you work for someone, it is a voluntary agreement to provide labor for captial. Economic FACT is that without government, real wages and buying power would rise for everyone.

  • You are telling me to provide reasoned argument?! Omfg! You are just yelling :''The government is evil!''

When you work for someone it is mostly because he is born rich and you are not -check the statistic, empiricist guy.

Oh, I'm impressed, you can do a simple math of tax-cut. I don't know how is possible that this was missed by every man with half of brain! How about removing ''Boss'' from the equation?

  • Organdva, are advocating Communism?

  • A quick search reveals: "About 64 percent of the billionaires are self-made ". While this statistic does not cover all rich (could you please point me to a statistic?), I think your argument style is unpleasant and I am not enjoying our interaction, so I'm going to stop. Bye.

  • @SaturnaliaSidhe THEY PAY YOU, YOU IDIOT. That's not THEFT. If you think they're mistreating you, work somewhere else or become self-employed, you idiot.

  • @Tuhljin At $6 an hour (after taxes, etc.), that is not pay...it's slave labor

  • i don't agree with this. unless this gal works for Goldman Sachs, Monsanto, Walmart or another big corporation who has the system rigged in their favor. otherwise, actions promoted in this video hurt many small businesses and thus main street America. there are many honest, hard working bosses and business owners - they don't deserve unscrupulous employees.

  • @lloydmer - agreed on this point. And, those of you considering this, your exercise in "Stealing from Work Day" could become "Sitting in Jail/Being Sued from Stealing from Work Day". Make sure its REALLY worth it.

Thinking thru your own personal revolution instead of just jumping in without weighing your actions might be a more of what America needs to do. Not thinking about the repercussions of our actions and following along is what got our country in this trouble in the first place.

  • Really....... Really?, this is the video..... By all means don't steal from work if you like your job but if it sucks and you hate your job and you just feel like a slave where you live in fear of losing your job because of BS then you should steal, like if you work at a fastfood place, I know if I did I would steal shit all the time.

  • stop going to work day would be more effective.

  • Or how about "burn down a wal-mart day",

  • While that would probably be a really cool way to spend a Sunday night, it would never be feasible since Wal-Marts usually have employees in them at all hours of the day.

  • Just burning a small amount, like a rack of clothing, could cause the store to close for a day, 1000s of people doing this to 1000s of WalMarts, just to see how many points their stocks drop.

  • Again, that could actually hurt people through smoke inhalation and possibly burns. We don't want to hurt actual people, just profits.

You could gain the same effect by calling in false bomb threats at 1000s of stores instead.

  • Fire in a the store will not spread they have everything to far apart, so people getting burned would be their own fault, smoke inhalation is not likely because of the size and airspace that is inside the store, everyone would be out of the store in less then 5 minutes from the fire starting.

  • @phospheneca indeed, a lot of us would get fired tho. :/

  • -yeah thx douch im sure momy and poppy bought u ur diploma but the rest of us dont get the fuckin chance to go to college ...

STEAL SOMETHING FROM WORK DAY 04/15 !!!
