After you are done frying, pour the oil into a metal pan or bowl to start the cooling process. Once cooled, you will see that the crumbs and junk have settled to the bottom. Carefully pour the oil into a sealable container without disturbing the stuff on the bottom, cap it off, and place in the refrigerator. There it will be good for weeks. There are no problems with bacteria; restaurants will use the same fryer oil for days, even a week or more, with no trouble.
what do you do with all the oil once your done cooking with it? I've never 'deep fried' food...seems like a waste to throw it out but reusing it wouldn't it get bacteria or germs from the food particles? help ! :)
ohh that is no problem....I can convert the recipes in Eurepean measurements....there ist a very nice vegan cooking show in German language as well...just search for "Atilla Hildman" he ist a good cook and a very cool guy...^^
Muemin - he's using the raw vegan sour cream that Elaina Love makes on this site - he won't use yogurt (milk) as he is a vegan - I believe there might be a soya yogurt - but the cream mentioned above is quite a tasty alterntive - all good wishes.
SOUR CREAM For tzatziki???? (and the reason they out tz there for you to pronounce it right, tz sound is "j" therefor it should sound like jajeki or sth like that. whatever. your are akso suposed to cut the cucumber not like that. its so weird. u call yourself a chef? ur not a chef! u cant be a chef. first learn put yogurt in tzatziki
Followed the recipe and wasn't impressed. I was craving falafel and couldn't wait to use this recipe but I was disappointed. It was just ok. It tastes so much like chili isn't of falafel, but hey maybe it was the brand of chickpea I used. Thanks for posting though. I appreciate all the recipes and time it takes to make the videos
you are killing me here. i LOVE middle eastern food, and since becoming vegetarian, i love falafels more than ever. THANK YOU for making this and giving us the recipe, thank you!

Hi Germany,
How much does it bug you that we Americans put our recipes in standard measurements and not metric in our recipes?
