Whos the girl at the end w/the pie? Kiki Dee? Cute. 1985 was a uncanny year for music. Ppl were filling stadiums for A-Ha, Prince copycat acts, Iron Maiden &Power Station. Even the most serious legends like Elton, decided 2go w/the flow &make innocuous, synth pop w/the rest. No biggie. I always thot it wud hav been cool, if George Micheal had replaced Freddie Mercury in Queen, after his illness. Call it blasphemous. But their vocal range &star power were similar. Most definately in my mind was the "wrap HIM up" thought, and how, with his influence/money/prestige he could "get" most anyone in "that way"...it's kinda obvious the high energy level demonstrated in the preformance was of a coca nature. Reminded me of the silly but well done movie "The Toy" with Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason. If one were to go to "Reggie Van Gleason" (on You Tube) Mr. Gleaso can be seen snorting while doing his favorite character, Reggie Van Gleason III. Enjoy.
