i went from an xr 100 to xr 200 to xr 400 to crf 450r. and im 14 and 5 ft, 9. i love the 450 even though i trail ride the most. need to use the clutch alot on the trail.
ok i am 12 right now and i have a xr 80 and i am getting a new bike my dad wants me to get a crf150rb but i can fit on a crf 250r fine what would you guys say please reply thanks
Jojo, just say to you that I'd take a CR125, I've got it for 5 years, from 15 to 20 years old, and the two strokes it's the best way to learn how to ride a cross motorbike. After that, you can ride any motorbike, would be easier for you. Also, be glad that you have your father's help, most of people doesn't these oportunity. Thanks!
ok so im 14 right and i don't want to go through a 2 stokr 125 to a 250 to a 450 i want to just get a CRF450R now and spend my time working with it over the summer and working with it i have no problem touching the ground or any of that i just don't know how long it will take me to get to be able to ride it reasonable hard and if its even worth trying.
El video esta bien, todo menos las partes donde salen motos de cross sin matricular. Gracias a este tipo de gente estan las cosas como estan con la ley de acceso al medio natural. lastimoso.
250 2-strokes are in 450 4-stroke class because 2-strokes have wicked acceleration and you can get upto 100 in like 3.5 seconds but you always have to rebuild 2-strokes. or you could go a crf450 with more controller able power and better top end. and u dont have to rebuild them as much as a 2-stroke. but u could change the back sprocket on the 2-strokes 2 give you more top end. really depends on what u want to do. if i was trail riding i would get a 4-stoke if i was racing i would get a 2stroke
what are the 450's like compared to a 250 2 stroke? coz i got a rmx250 but im looking at getting a new bike to start racing enduro an i wanted to get a 4 stroke, but i just rode a wr250 today an im looking for more power than that.
the honda 450r's are very reliable and hold their value if you decide that you dont like it in the future...they have way more torque than any 2 stroke i have a 450r they kick!

i guess i'll have to ride a 08 250 and 450 an see wich one i like better. i was talkin to a m8 that does supercross an he recons that ridin a 450 is like riding a couch. an that the power is alot esier to use. id like to get a 450. an i'll keep my rmx anyway. i had a look at the new 08 exc450. it looks alright. i gotta save up some money anyway lol.
u know the reason why the 250 strokes are with the 450 4 strokes have nothing to do with "wicked accleration" its the engine 2 strokes have the pistion move double as much as a 4 stroke...god ur an idiot
nosorry mate your wrong as well 2 strokes piston still moves the same amount no mater what one revolution of the engin is one revolution no matter what the 2 stroke it is just every up ward stroke is a combustion and every down is a power stroke where a 4 stroke have have a down stroke (intake)intake valve open up stroke (combustion)both intake and exaust valve close down stroke (power) still bothe valves closed but fuel is ignited and forcing piston down
and then piston moves up again (exaust) with exaust valve open 4 strokes where 2 strokes do this every revolution and it takes 2 revolutions for a 4 stroke
true but by the time a 2 stroke has its motor rebuilt a couple times then the four stroke would still be on the original so its kinda 3/1 on how many times a 2 stroke needs to be rebuilt to how many times a 4 stroke needs to be rebuilt
Contrary to popular belief, 2-strokes do not need to be rebuilt very often as long as you use a good oil and clean filter. I just did the top end on my 94 CR 250 that had 300+ hours on it and the ring gap was still in spec. Only spent $200 on parts. But on my CRF 450R the valves went out after 50 hours=$500 for top end.
aha well i have a 2007 Kx250f and ive put about 80 hours on it and i race it ive only had the values adjusted and the oil changed every ride/race and the filter every 2 and i have needed a rebuild yet, but im going to rebuild it this winter cuz im doing the bike over with new everything and that stuff just comes along with it
I had an 02 CRF450R and I had to shim the valves every like 10 hrs. After 49.2 hours of riding they got so tight I ran out of shims that I could use. So watch who you are calling a dumb ass.
hey i totally agree but im 13 doing mostly trails (*dont care bout track) anyways i got a cr250 geared down with a 10oz. flywheel and it works great in the woods. also have other woods accessories like handle gaurds, etc....
Part of why i switch to a 4 stroke. dont get me wrong i love my 2 but i cant get enought of the low end power and touqe i get out of my 4. and the 50 extra miles per tank. haha im with u i like the single track or just trails no Tracks needed for me
Exelentes imagenes, pero como dice otro posteador lo mejor que es el sonido de estos fierros se lo tapaste con la musica!!!!aguante el CRF450 cañazoooooo!!!!!

You'll get a shit load more torque with a 450-4T
than a 250-4T but with a 250 2T you'll get flat out raw power, its what you prefer.
try a 450-4t then try a 250-2t to see what you prefer. its what suits your riding style in a way

chillrasta12 3 years ago
u dont need to change the valves every 50 hrs u dumb ass

ahah u need a new motor for a 2 stroke like every 40-50 hours ahah

wrong top end whenever it starts to lose power and if you run your shit right they can last a very long time without having to have a rebuild.

How many miles to a tank of gas do you get when trail riding? Does the shorter gearing slow the top speed a lot?
