my sister sold me a box of tea packets for $30 bucks. I was sick at the time with a severe cold. It never! seemed to help. I got over the cold with antibiotics and kept drinking the tea after. 2 weeks after, came down with same cold again.

$30 + 20 packets over 3 weeks and I found none of the health benefits claimed. I NEEDED these to work and found no results. The fungus may have health benefits, but getting them wet and drinking the water from them doesn't seem to be the way to go.

The most expensive is the Japanese Red Reishi - it takes two years to cultivate and in it's pure form is extremely expensive and highly revered by the Chinese and Japanese. Because high quality version is extremely expensive and rare, I'm not sure how potent or useful these mass consumer products that claim to contain reishi exteacts are... These summaries are from the Reishi monograph on Aloha Medicinals website, which goes into far greater detail. I stopped noticing the effect after a while, and I would say that an already healthy, young person would have less to notice, as most of its effect is correcting defects or imbalances; it has very little toxicity.

I intend to keep using Reishi and cordyceps as my health and energy level has been consistently good all year. Reishi is bitter but would go well with the taste of coffee.

If you don't notice, try the real mushroom, not an extract; it's cheap in Chinese shops, extracts don't always catch everything. I felt the mushroom, I chewed about 5g, and it had the effects mentioned here. I will continue to use it for Hep C, with cordyceps, which is similar but more anti-viral. I already benefitted from antioxidants and other nutrients, but the chinese mushrooms restore the immune balance that Hep C knocks around. Cordyceps basically reboots your immune system.

Thanx for the info. This really helps me alot because I plan on introducing to a friend that drinks alot and I understand that it helps the liver. I also heard that it is great to help cancer patients which is a risk factor for hepatitis sufferers. I have an indirect relative whom suffers from cancer and on chemo and thus I heard it also helps relieve therapy side-effects. I will introduce today and maybe get them on it if they like the taste.

well from other ppl that i've been using with says it helps them health wise, but i've been taking the 3 in 1 coffee and cocoa for over a year, but i don't feel any different, prolly because my immune system is still strong.... but my father is in the company, and he gave some of it to ppl, dentists, friends, they all say they feel alot different after taking it. Its a lucrative business if you work hard at it. The only thing i notice the difference is the coffee taste in both regular and gano.
