just out of curiosity, why do i see only two spark plug wires. There is usually a leading and trailing wire per rotor. Maybe that is why your engine idles low for a P-port. My friends p- ports idles at a constant 2200 Rpm.
@iillektrikk Look more closely. The two bright yellow plug wires go directly from coils to the lead plugs; they're fired simultaneously from an MSD box as a waste spark setup. Red plug wire goes from one coil to the distributor which splits it to the trailing plugs, since they can't be fired waste spark. Only reason it's idling low is because that's what the carb idle was set to; I didn't see much reason to set it to 2k RPM when it started and idled fine lower.
@mekilljoydammit oh ok, cool cool, i totally missed that lol. How is the rest of the car coming along, it looks like your doing a circuit race car set up, it's looking good so far. would you be posting any new vids on the progress of the car soon ?
JUST A WORD OF THE WISE BRING THE IDLE UP TO 2000 RPM'S WHEN IT IDLES AND I WOULD RECOMEND GETTING A LARGER WEBER CARB. I HAVE A 1985 RX7 BRIDGE AND I HAVE A 58MM WEBER AND IT RUNS GREAT. YOUR CAR JUST SOUNDS THIRSTY JAJA. GOOD LUCK WITH IT

Thousand RPM isn't that low of an idle for a PP. And yeah, ports and manifold were homebrew.

nice

Whoa that's an incredibly low idle for a PP. may not be a good thing for the motor
