Alistair Overeem WOULD NEVER go to the UFC. That's his choice. Don't be a Zuffa Zombie and believe otherwise. Dana offered him and Semmy Schilt contracts and they told him to fuck off when they realized they'd make more in K-1, Dream and Strikeforce. Makes way more elsewhere. Same with Josh Barnett.

Nick Diaz is a hot commodity and he chose to stick with Strikeforce, despite a UFC contract being offered. Dan Henderson left the UFC to Strikeforce for more money...

I think the number one fighter in the world is GSP. The UFC is the premier organization in the world, no doubt. That doesn't mean there isn't a wealth of talent elsewhere. No UFC champion started out in the UFC. They all had to get a start somewhere. Jake Shields just left Strikeforce and is going for the UFC title next.

You're wrong in saying Strikeforce has no elite athletes. They have have about 20% of the Top 20 fighters in each weight class and they are a legit org.

You're not a fan of the sport, but rather of the UFC. That's fine. They are the premier organization. If you want to listen to one band, that can be up to you, too.
