how the hell does this guy get such a smooth gradient when he shades? Unbelieveable precision with his line too, I draw with bics every day and never get anything even close to that. Does anyone know how he does it? I would really like to see him draw something at normal speed.

@jackhartcup thanks, I'll try and get some normal speed footage up at some point so you can see. it's all about being incredibly light with the pen and having it at an acute angle to the paper so you just use the edge of the pens ballpoint to create light shades

Your stuff is amazing man, I bet your the kind of guy who just doodles in his spare time and leaves great drawings on really mundane things like newspapers or reciepts! Also, just so I can get an idea of what speed I'd need to go, roughly how long did this drawing take?
