no, youll only get in trouble if you like hack your stats or something that actually changes the way the game plays. modding textures isnt illegal. no one would even know if you did unless you said "hey i just modded some textures."

@emscott32 there is a section to do with texmod in the game liscence agreement that says its fine

Yeah, Hold down function "Fn" and look closely at the keys you should see numbers in the corners thats your numpad

Well see, i'm only modding the startup screen to demonstrate how to use the program. Then, others can use it to mod in-game graphics.

it should be in your output folder along with a .txt file.

lol, I get the textures but once i get there, im lost,god help me now. Anyway, how do you create a Def file. When i go into my Output its looking for TPF. files, what does this mean?and what should i do?

After you get the textures just play with them or change the whatever you want. Def. file is the same as output folder just "\texmod.log" at the end. About TPF I'm not sure because that's not a selectable output format for texmod. In fact I think TPF is Transaction Processing Facility. Lol Idk Please explain further?

I dont have a number pad for the selection of the texture. I still have the + button but it doesnt seem to work. Any advice?

yeah you should have a keypad on m,j,k,l,u,i, and o, or something like that. Look and you should see some little numbers in the corner of the keys. push Function "FN" then use those. =)

No, only you can see it. If others could see it then I'm sure you'd get banned or something. I can't explain the "shining hands" because I son't really play GW that much.

Yeah, it actually works better than just out on the Desk Top. Programs aren't meant to run from the Desk Top.

its not a trojan, if u have a good anti virus you pick it up (obviously gramps doesnt) but just ignore it. Read GWW if you dont believe me.

And yes, you need an outut folder because you need a folder to extract textures into and edit them.

Sorry. There is an error in the vid. make the empty output folder set to "output folder" not def file. try that and see if it works. def file should be: C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Desktop\ou­tput\TexMod.log

I have a question.... Im trying to put the output folder as my def file, but it wont let me... i think its because its looking for a FILE and not a FOLDER... can u plz help me select the def file? I made a folder and when i browse to make it my def file, it wont let me select it... plz help me

I don't think i get it.... it should be set as the default output but i'm not sure... it's just a regular empty folder and it works for me. i have it set as: C:\Documents and Settings\gramps24\Desktop\outp­ut. try manually putting it and if it doesn't work we'll try to figure this out. and sorry I haven't been online in a little while. just change "gramps24" to whatever your account name is on your pc. and be sure you actually have an output folder made.

your definition file should be the empty "output" file you made. Just make a new folder.
