Cristina doesn't hesitate at all with Owen. Owen and Cristina flow more naturally together. The Burke Cristina realationship was so forced. Burke wanted her to move in when she wasn't ready. Burke wanted a big wedding and she really wanted a small one.

I Love Cristina especially when she's with Owen. I hated her relationship with Burke. Burke even had the thought of dating Cristina after making her pregnant and having a miscarriage! His crazy. Unlike with Owen, I think Owen thought her how to fall in love with someone with every little thing he did to her was big changes on her perspective in love and that would really make her relationship with Owen stronger than with Burke. I must be honest and confess that I loved the character of Burke, and Cristina seemed a bit immature and selfish in their relationship with him (although I love the personality and character of Cristina). To compare Owen Vs. Burke is very difficult, because they are both fabulous but different. Cristina shows the best of itself with Owen. With Burke always trying to prove something (I think by the admiration he felt for him). But Burke was not worse than Owen, just different.

Honestly what people are forgetting is though Burke was cocky and pushed Cristina she never regretted it later, like when they moved in. She was comfortable with Burke. And though she may be with Owen to its not the same because of the fact that he is obviously tortured. I think Burke was best for her because she needs stability which Burke gave and Owen never will.

Shes getting to know what Love means with Owen. He respecs her, he loves her for who she is and does not attempt to change her. She does not hesitate a micro second with owen, nor for the coffee he gives to her, nor when she enters her bathroom and take care of Owen... She follows him in the vent room, she answers a straight yes when owen asks her if shed go out with him. She loves Owen. I myself never really loved her relationship with Burke. I thought that was not love but worship & admiration

You are reading my mind! This is exactly what I was thinking. And Burke had this superior attitude towards her (him being the Cardio God), that Owen would never have. Owen is humble in the relationship with Cristina, he feels lucky to have her in his life, just like she is: tough yet compassionate, competitive yet respectful, distant yet so passionate. Owen belogs to Cristina just like she belongs to him, they are soul mates.

Retrospectively, I realize how much I actually didn't like Cristina and Burke. It always bothered me how he wanted her to change. I think Owen is better b/c they're both damaged goods that can fix each other.

I never liked Christina and Burke and that clip is one of the many reasons why. She def tried too hard to please Burke never herself. She gave up any and everything she wanted for him. Its like she was a fake person with him, but with Owen she can be herself cause he doesn't have any expectations he wants to know her and not someone he wants her to be or thinks she should be.

The similarities betwix Owen/patient & Chris/daddy is way intense especially how he said it was his best/worse surgery just as with Chris/daddy it was her worse time, but at the same time it was a defining moment because it made her go into the field in which she is studying and want to be in... in the "long haul" that is LOL

first off, i never liked burke lol

i think owen and cristina have alot in common. They've both been damaged by past events. And because of this, i think they're closer than burke and her could have ever been. cristina knows that she's not being judged because owen's is just a messed up as she is. it's more of a bond based on hope that they can both get through their problems together. Compared to burke, owen's not perfect. And i think that cristina is drawn to it because it ISNT another burke.

I think she sees herself in Owen while with Burke she always felt she had something to prove.. She met Owen when he was also an over confident, assured man but then, when he came back from war, he was someone else and, in a way, the same happened to her. Before Burke she was always so sure of herself but when he left, she changed. She also suffered a great deal when her dad died (this surgery he tells her about reminded me of when she told him how she tried to stop her dad's bleeding).

I think she also doesn't judge Owen for some reason. I think mainly because he's not her peer, even though he's an attending, he's not her competition per se like Burke was in a wierd way. I think secretly she was competing with Burke, while with Owen there is more of a friendship/unconditional love thing going on.

It's funny now. But, I see a lot of us have been hurt or manipulated by an ex; That have-at time have left a lasting impression on us all("myself included"), but like Yang-you deal-then move on. And, with time...we have learned, and gotten some wisdom-to stopped the madness so-maybe God, will send us our own Soja-Boy to complement each other. replaced all the others.

I don't what to say. I know she loved Burke but he wasn't the right man for her, it's not just that he left her at the altar but their whole relationship now that I look at it. He didn't treat her right, trying to change her all the time. And now Owen, he seems very right for her, I know he is broken but he just gets her somehow and he appreciates her for herself, loves her just the way she is and he brings something out new side of her.

Burke reminds me of my exboyfriend. He was just like Burke; cocky, tried to change me, would 'break up' if he felt like I didn't agree with him...

Owen Hunt is awesome. He is a good match for Christina. :D That and he's hot.

Yeah, sounds similar to my ex boyfriend :) At the time I wasn't really aware of his and my behavior but now when I see the same thing happening to others it makes me cringe and I think to myself: "Never again." So it's good, having ones eyes opened and the ex part :)

burke never loved who cristina was, only who she could eventually be.

owen wins this one, no question. there's a reason cristina says "he's gone; i'm free. dang it" at the end of season 3. she loved him but she could never fit his mold.
