@howesthename runn faster.. you need more speed to stay up in deep water. and make sure your board is the right size for your weight. and to time the waves just takes practice. and practice. and practice. also watch the timing of people skimmin around you and in videos. but if you pick up your speed it will be easier to time it all. good luck

@soccermaniac4535 have you tried turning your board perpendicular to the way you're going (3:04)? This forces more surface area on top of the water and allows you to "float" a little longer. When wrapping.....all I know to say is keep your back foot in the wave....Ride it out, "kick" the wave, and pray...
