For people that live or used to live here, am i the only person that has seen that weird gut on the oldie bike. When I would walk to school i would always see him doing a pathetic trick on it. He said some strange things to me.
Recently spent some time in Doylestown while on business in Ivyland. Absolutely great place, stopped in at Stephanie's and the bar next to Puck's? Oh and Bar 54? my minds a blur but really enjoyed it.
@SweetSnakeBzz Yes she did just a few miles from here in Dublin. I've toured the home and it's exactly the way she lift it in 1973. She was laid to rest at the entrance on the left. The foundation is headquartered on the grounds; search for Pearl S. Buck International.
Paddy as in Irish? Not so sure about that. Check this out: "Doylestown is named after the Doyle family. The Doyle family originally came from France (their name was D'ouilli at that time), but moved to Ireland during the Inquisition. Around 1600 their name was changed to D'oyley and later it was changed again to Doyle. Edward Doyle sailed to America in 1640 and lived in Rhode Island for a time until he then moved to Bucks County after receiving a land grant from William Penn in 1692.."
In 1959 I asked my Mom if I could go to the County theater to see Charlton Heston in Ben Hur. She said, nah, it was too violent for an eight year old.
Finny's bar was Called Finny's Royal Grotto. One of the first places I got legally served at. A real shot-and-a beer place with a lot of older men who smoked cigars and could smoke you on the pool table!

Hi, I like very much your town. I have a question: Did live there Pearl S. Buck? I've read something about.
