  • This song was used in the early James Cagney movie "Blonde Crazy" and I've always thought it was a great tune, but it never became a standard. (in the film it was just interpolated in the background, & not used as a full fledged musical number) It must be rare because I've been trying to find a full copy of it for a while. I have lots of Boswell Sisters stuff, but never knew they did this song. Glad to find it here.

  • @RRaquello After this movie, This song became a top hit of 1931 and many AWESOME versions are on records from this era. I JUST LOVE IT!

  • Well, the song is done too much on the "sweet" side for a Boswell recording. But their vocal, which is probably all theirs, is typical of their style.

  • Sweet may be the Victor Young touch - those are the Dorseys, Venutti and Lang, Manny Klein, and Stan King in the orchestra and they hardly ever get called sweet :)

  • Thanks for the posting -- just can never get enough of those Boswell Sisters! Do you have another to share?

  • Hi Sir, I totally agree with you...for now I have 2 Boswell`s more on my site...I can`t yet say when (not that long)...but for sure there are more to come of the Boswell`s!
