First X was in. Then he's not. Then Capcom decides to show Megaman on a poster as not eliminated or captured. Now X is back in, as an alternate skin for Zero. Then, there's Nova's ending. *sigh* Capcom, hate to say it, but you're going down, and I don't think anyone will want to fish you out. While all of the other gaming companies are experiencing blasts of nostalgia (Sonic, Mario, even Spyro to an extent), you're letting the Blue Bomber rust in the scrapheap along with other mascots.

If Capcom goes so far as to put in characters like Firebrand or even Phoenix Wright in UMvC3, and not include someone like Megaman, it's a good sign that Capcom is scrapping our Hero in Blue. However, I seriously doubt that it's going to be the end of Capcom, considering how they're doing as a company nowadays.

@zakashin I don't want to come off as saying it's okay to randomly upgrade something 5 months after it came out, but originally all of the characters were going to be dlc and there was not going to be any rebalancing (something that everyone forgets about), but there was the earthquake, so they put it all as an upgrade with rebalancing as a bonus. also if each fighter was dlc they'd cost $15 each, which would cost over $100 just to buy them all, which is more stupid than rushing UMvC3

Plus, MMX is the only MM to not appear in a fighting game. MM, .EXE, Zero, MMZero, Volnutt, and even ROLL have appeared in fighting games already. X's special weapons, IMO, are more appropriate for a fighting game. But .EXE would be fun to play.
