Look at ALL the talent that escaped us Crespo, Farias, Rivas, Diogo, Saviola, Aimar, Angel, Sorin, Mascherano, Cavenaghi, maxi Lopez, D'Alessandro , Belluschi, Cambiasso, Higuian. River had so much talent even with pellegrini they were champs! Then they sold everyone, last place, now they are slowly coming back with youth like Lamella, Funes Mori etc

@MYacono Yeah River are slowly becoming the club they once were. Still, the reality is, the clubs in Argentina have to become "selling" clubs. It is horrible but it is the only way they can keep existing. Lamela, Ciriglanio, Lanzini, Chichizola, and Funes Mori hold the key to the future. If river want to succeed they need to hold on to these players. However, River need to hang on to Pavone, Carrizo, Roman, Maidana, and Acevedo to have some experience.

@ElFlacoRiver I agree 100% , the league suffered from the mass sellings, the quality of play is WAY down. that's why FoxEsp dropped el clasico de domingo and futbol de primera , with too many green players its painful to watch some games and I prefer to watch paso a paso . True River , to keep the players you mentioned. to form a solid base like Velez. Gareca and most of the players have a couple seasons under their belt and even JJ said theyre better for their rythm etc

@MYacono Also many of the teams in Argentina put all their efforts into signing a ex-player from Europe. Sadly, River are the worst of all the teams. They have been trying to sign D'alessandro, Cavenaghi, and Aimar for a few years now. If they would concentrate thier effort into signing an experienced player that is not over thirty, then they would have a much better squad.

Parece-me mais ofencivo do que o Lucho, o que é bom :) tem um bom remate, adorei os dribles que vi dele, muito junto ao pé ao estilo de Deco, logo vai ser um alvo em faltas. well ,in olympiakos he didnt do great things...we paid 7 million to river to buy him 2 years ago,but we were crying for our money so many olympiakos fans (not all) think that its good to have sold him..i m sure he is a good player but in olympiakos he didnt play as everyone expected fro him... when he was in river he was a fantastic player but i can tell you that in olympiakos he wasnt good..Lucho is 50 times better thats for sure..

bellu is a good player but i think you wont like him as much as lucho gonsalez....belluschi can win the game alone but sometimes he is out of the game...it's like you play with 10 players....i will miss him but also i wont cry for him....he has fantastic dribbling..you will love it but no shooting from distance :(.......let's hope i will buy a better player than him like kallstrom

well , as an olympiakos fan i have to say some things. fernando is really good player.very technick.and his assist?is really great...but in olympiakos he was never in the starting squad (titular)...he is a little bit slow and he is not good shooter.he is kind overrated i think..surely he is not our best player...he has the best manager in the world , and that is able to make his price higher...lucho gonzález is really better...much better...
