There is a clear Hadith '' From amoung my followers there will be some people who will consider the wearing of silk, the drinking of alchohal and the use of Musical instruments as lawful.'' This hadith clearly states that musical instruments are HARAM and there is no disagreement amoung scholars on this because when Prophet SAW had said that '' musical instruments as lawful'' he ment that it was unlawful then people made it lawful. I request to all the Muslims to pursuit on why music is haram!

to be fair, i saw a life consert was held in jeddah KSA, so its not banned, i know some fanatics have issues with some of the verses incluidng shaikh, shaarawi of egypt who asked a famouse kuraan reciter and a reciter of BURDAH to change some of the words ,

I'm not too sympathetic to Saudi as they have destroyed Mecca and Medina. Destroying the homes of the Prophet saws, the Sahaba and the cemeteries in which they're buried in the name of fighting polytheism. Oh yeah, and their persecution of Muslims who arent "Salafi", ie moderate mainstream Sunni, Shia, Sufi... My feelings don't come from hate but deep rooted love for Allah swt, Muhammad saws Islam and Muslims.
@MuslimModerate1 well if we had kemalist rule in Makkah we would've had the Quran/Athan/Khutba everything in Turkish and we would've had the dirty amulets(nazar) hanging from the Ka'bah and had stupid sufis running around crazy and stabbing themselves, and don't call the shia muslims they're heretics, and remember Salafis are moderate and not extremist like the takfeeris.Oh and not to forget we would've also had people worshipping the prophet(saw) grave.
@MuslimModerate1 Saudi Arabia is not the best representation of Islam because of some of the corruption in the government and the royal family; however, the people in Saudi at the time felt that destroying some of these places will be for the benefit of the greater good. I am not condoning their actions, but the Muslims of that time were commiting major shirk in worshipping many living things and doing "grave worship" at these sites because of their "holiness."

nothing wrong with instruments sister, as you hear the instruments made the poem/song much much better, and the tone is just awesome, just enjoy it and follow your heart, there is some scholars who say its permisable if its used in a good way like this poem / song here.
