@jarky418 Not to worry, the problem you are experiencing is not with the gears. It is the height of your motor. My father owns an Echo 1 SCAR that experienced the same problem, a loud grinding noise. Simply turn the gun over, look on the bottom of your pistol grip, you should see a philip's screw. Tighten this a half a turn. No more than half! More than half will raise the motor too much. Let me know if that fixes your problem!

but i recently went airsofting for my first time and after the 3rd game... well it did the same thing. tried to fix it and it didnt work. getting my piston replaced because thats what the people told me to do... not sure yet. :/

@jarky418 hmm, that is odd. Maybe the first few teeth on the piston finally gave out. If you replace the piston and are experiencing the same problem, raise the motor a bit more. Working on these things (unfortunately), has become like working on today's cars - everything's electronic, so it could be anything. Good luck!

sick got one of these for xmas, it shoots 410 out of the box!!!! everything is awesome except the grip, rubber thing in the back, and the rear sights. rear sights you can hardly see through. the grip feels like lego, its really loose and cheap. and the rubber in the back of the stock falls off alot. I actually lost it in SC Village. :( but over all great fucking gun

@jarky418 Your gears inside the gun have grinded down to nothing. Basically, the gun is shot. Bring it to a professional and ask them to put a new gearbox in or buy a new gun.. happened to me several time. It's the result of buying cheap, plastic guns.

The original ASC was a SCAR-L, ECHO 1 didn't make a Scar-H at that time so the gun was just called "ASC". When ECHO 1 made the Scar-H model, they called it the "ASC-H". So the two versions of this gun are the "ASC" and the "ASC-H". There is no such thing as an ASC-L, this is the ASC. So you are are the retard. It's hard to find intelligent comments on Youtube when commenters don't know what the fuck they are talking about.

@TeamIMPACTops Err I had a few issues with it, other than that I love it. My first issue was the very strong hop up. I had to use .25s to get the best performance but .2s worked as long as the hop up was all the way down. Then I had an issue with the mag release but catching mags but i fixed it and then a hueg problem with a pistion stripping but i fixed it too.

@sermax6 yes, if you are new, or simply haven't heard, if you don't fire on semi before putting the gun away, it wears out the spring. A spring is cheap (20 dollars) but just make sure that you fire a few semi bbs before putting it away because it doesn't leave the spring compressed.

ok the newer mk16. ( yes they updated them) the coler difference isnt as noticable, the color for the top metal reciver isnt that weird metalic green. its more tan like g&g's. they also from what i heard and looking at my friends mk16 he just got and i looked at his gearbox. the gear box has been updated because i just recently fixed a friends gearbox. so they shoot closer or over 400 fps. but fps isnt everything. they are good guns for the price. but not the best.

Just use a 7,4V LiPo, 11.1V is overkill in 99,999% of the guns

The midcap mag mine has refuses to feed. Usually 2 bbs are jammed next to each other and i have to drop it to get them out! Any tips to get the damn thing to feed? Proper way to load the mag? I use speedloaders

you can move the charging handle by using an allen key. Inside the "handle" is the hex screw just unscrew it and twist the handle out. There's a hole on the other side of the bolt and just put the hex screw in the handle and rescrew.
