  • ...and yet less has been invested in the study that is spent on one "fake terrorism" drill to defend against fake war that is created out of the same tax purse most often,

    ~by their own accounting admissions

=least the weather modification terrorist set sites on La Palma, or a GLOBALZIONest with a suit case nuke box cutter or even ruptured propane tanker infected with stuxnet or blown aground in a storm in that basin; "sush now" don't blow the insane safety delusion ride, you'll wake the sheep

  • Chuck Norris gave the water a drop kick

  • I wanna play with the landslide generator! :(

  • this guy should be a villan in a movie

  • i wish this wave would hit mexico and get rid of all the mexicans.

  • @vrem not cool man but funny

  • If you have a boat on the last story of the right building you'll be arlight :)

  • lmao i can hold my breath for 20 secs ill be fine :P

  • They don't scare me --- I've got WaterWings!!

  • Thumbs up if you think this guy talks like Arnold Schwarzenegger

  • he sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger

  • This guy talks like Arnie....

  • BREAKIN: CATALONIA GETS HIT BY A 9.5 QUAKE AND 300METER WAVES. REPORTED 890,000 DEAD

  • @MrPresidentVirg idiot

  • I like how they make the wave look like a bad guy.

  • I'm calling fudge on this experiment. An enclosed tank like that may be a fair indicator of what happened in Lituya Bay, but it cannot be extrapolated to resemble any La Palma landslide. The experiment hasn't got the depth, the width or the distance to be in any way indicative of what a La Palma slide might do. It is, for example, interesting to note that the waves got 1/2 km in height within the bay, but were no more than a few feet in the open water once they escaped the bay.

  • A rubber ring would be nice, but usually it's the the impact that kills you.

  • fritz sounds like brüno^^

  • wait this only happens in lituya bay and those guys are wrong the mega tsunami does crashes to shore,i been in lituya bay and it crashed also i can't belive my family and i survived the last thing is that didn't know mega tsunamis only happen in lituya

  • richard hammonds brain with arold schwratznegters voice

  • Do you need to marry here is the solution sarafox.info

  • Hmm his observations are merely based upon a landslide along a gradual slope.. What if its a sharp 90 degrees falling motion of slope materials? It might generate much bigger waves. And to further identify the impacts it should be modeled like a real coastal landscape - trees, grass, soil. All I see here is a tank filled with water with gravel sliding down lol.

  • idiot. that stupid man saying the results were interesting. isn't a bit obvious what would happen?!

  • He sounds like Schwarzenegger.

  • I'll be sure to pack an umbrella

  • They don't explain the real danger of tsunamis in Lituya Bay - they are full of angry grizzly bears. There's only one thing more terrifying than a 500 meter high wall of water, and that's a 500 meter high wall of water full of angry grizzly bears.

  • @toranamunter hahahah!

  • @toranamunter LoL

  • @toranamunter You sir have won the internetzzzzzz rofl

  • mega tsunami its just like the world trade center its like

  • >.> They need to stop specifying. That's not just megatsunami that do the wall of water, but regular tsunami as well. Basically, at a long range, megatsunami and regular tsunami are essentially the same thing, but megatsunami are much, MUCH deadlier at close range.

  • dat was fuking awesome...when is dis gonna happen...i live for stuff like this....

  • Tsunami also have very long dick lengths. Upto about 10km

  • It seems like the "under" motion of the landslide is what caused the wave at Lituya Bay on July 9, 1958 to be so huge. The landslide created an air cavity behind the water it displaced, like the video says, and the water couldn't flow behind it. Another factor that allowed the wave to be so huge was the narrowness of Lituya Bay. The water couldn't expand outward, like most megatsunami do, so it went up. Without a long wavelength, the wave will have a formidable height.

  • im really gonna swim after this...

  • help in chile tsunami

  • wow

  • @miloedo Yes, out at sea you are correct, but this is a big danger in my country Norway, where mountains around the many fjords threatens many villages with destruction.. This experiment is based on fjords, not out at sea!

  • your not concluding its on scale so the "mountain" on the test is like 1:10.000 or more so the with of the tank is like the width of the ocean. these scientists will conclude what said ofcourse...

  • the sides of the container act in a similar way as the sides of the bay

  • It's kinda the whole point matey.

The test-basin act's like the bay.

  • If you were in really deep water and you were swimming you would probably feel yourself raise up and than thats about it it will go down.

  • yes, it is very powerful... its a small bathtub with a box with gravel in it wow =/

  • scary

  • HAHAHHA

  • okay. the father out in the ocean you are the less you wil feel the tsunami. to some it may feel like a regular wave. depending on how deep youa are.

  • Anyone can help me with the video? I need to know what the video says, but in Spanish, or send me in writing what the narrator speaks to translate it into Spanish language

    thanks

    I'm from Chile

  • I got the answer to save millions of people, WERE A RUBBER RING when it hits you float back up;)

  • UM i think that you would get crushed by over 10 tons of water.

  • way more than that.

  • @necepter111 i think if u are watching a real 500 meter wave come to you,you would simply shit everything in ur pants dude and if u dont believe it then jump of a 500 meter high clif lets see who will laugh then.

  • @longer393 I know man, Im not that retarded, as soon as you seen it, you would either run in circles, or freeze, then as it hits, every bone in your body would crumble into dust sort of, then you hit the ground over and over. And I can't beleive I used the wrong Sort of spelling for Wear.

  • @necepter111 What's a rubber ring? So i cn go get me one haha

  • @MakereNZ Just a rubber ring filled with air, they use for little kids practising swimming.

  • @necepter111 with a tsunami, majority don't die but are cut to shreds by what is in the water, eg: Rocks.

    Don't joke.

  • @necepter111 Your neck is 99.9% of the time snapped under the current of the wave.

  • if your scared of the ocean because of tsunamis, i got two things to say. first, if your scared of tsunamis, you have no buisiness in a car beacuse there is like a 200x bigger chance of having a car crash than being in a tsunami. second, got to rocky point. the beach there has no chance of a tsnami

  • ha..ha..thats a funny comment

  • yh lol

  • im so glad i live in minnesota

  • tsunamis r soo scary. i dont evr wnt to be in 1 because they come sooo quick! if ur out in the ocean in the deeper water nd 1 of those come forget about living.......

  • i think you're fine if your in the deeper water as it goes, so you'll be fine :-)

  • intresting

  • And I live in the Netherlands.. :/

We live, maximum, at 250 meter above the sealevel :P

  • A depressive show isn't it? Especially if you're into real estate. Well, off you go to Nepal ; ).

  • Or Lesotho :P

  • me too!!:p

  • u can always come to belgium when the water is getting to high :)

  • Interesting :O

  • lies.....scientists used to think the world was flat.....they were right........not

  • Scientific infact never thought the world was flat, thats actually a myth.

  • 150 miles? Not a chance mate. 1-2 Miles is plausible, but even thats a stretch.

  • Where's the proof? Yes yes I've heard the theories. But much like God, no one has any actual proof!

  • umm that would be well over 50,000 feet high, making the wave even higher than 38,000 feet, which is the average height of planes, well obviously no one would believe you anyway because your name has pokemon in it

  • hahaha stop watching that pokemon shit!! it ruins your brain dude!!! hahaha!!!!

  • isnt 150km like into space? Are you moderately retarded?

  • Clyde123Frog: The length of the wave from front to back is 150km, not the height. 150km long not high.

  • no i was replying to

pokemonpackopener ..... he said it was that high lol... its on the next page of comments, take a look.

  • lol. just keep living in that box you call church

  • im alone at my house its midnight and that noise is freakin me out

  • is california at risk?

  • hmm, They are on a plate.. Is there a bay near California, If so is it big?

  • Becarefull with the volcanical islands where is really dangerous this kind of landslide cause its cliffs and mountains have not long undersea plateu, the isles are like piramids and when a litle slide happen just a few second after you have a huge wave travel around the ocean to nowhere or noone knows where is it travelling to....but you must think of meteors too

  • This is when Horizon used to be good.

Now it just talks about complete bollocks.

  • SCARY omg hope that never happens

  • dun worry mate they always suspect disasters. its a con mate
