  • Nugent for President!!!!!

  • The guitar solo from 2:54 thru 7:00 just might be the best, most insane, most wicked, most evil sounding solo ever recorded. Sounds like it's part violin, part Nitromethane burning funny car, part A-10 Warthog 30mm rotary cannon, part Phalanx CIWS radar-guided 20mm Gatling gun and part Saturn V rocket. Only Ted could put these things together and make a guitar sound like that. Long live Ted Nugent. The "Prime manipulator of high energy" !

  • I was 13 when this came out and still have my dbl live record :) Thanks Ted and Derek st Holmes! :)

  • all i got to say is you are aptly nmaed burythneedle, i listen to alot of your choices Dude ya'll rock it right!!!!!

  • in 1978 i bought this album and the 1st van halen album on the same day with money i earned doing yardwork at my grandma's... (oh yeah, and a dime bag of columbian gold too!!, if grandma only knew!!) i tried to not like him but its hard cuz he rocks... saw him 4 or 5 times in northern cali in the mid late 70's and early 80's... caught him in pensacola fl in 2004 or 2005 with zz top... i hate his politics but love the ROCK AND ROLL.... Rip It Up Ted!!!

  • Yeah, and 5:19 to 5:48. Saw them in Cleveland in the summer of '79...gas lines and all.

  • that fucking guitar ..

  • dont know who disliked this but from me n ted an all his fans PISS OFF

  • Always listened to this before a football game

  • If anybody wants to get mellow you can turn around and get the FUCK outa' here! Uncle Ted has been a no holds barred straight shootin' son of a bitch from day one. Ya' gotta respect the guy.

  • I was 12 years old when I purchased this double live LP at Uncle Bills and let me tell you it was kick ass. I loved it...It was so intense....I loved it.....Still do.....One of the best live lps ever.

  • Prophetic....they are coming down our streets very soon, are YOU ready? They be listening to your phone, better keep a gun in your hand......this shit can't be touched....sorry, no other music can make your body shake with chills like this shit, just ain't going to happen.

  • omg this takes me back to my youth..one of the best albums i ever heard..ty ted for gonzo

  • The Legend.........That my friends is the greatest "live" album ever recorded !

  • ted is the loud mouth man!lollet me hear ya baby!!!!!!!

  • ted is the loud mouth man!lol

  • I bet u like spinning shiny objects

  • are you with me out there? baby!

  • RReady!

  • Ted Loves FREEDOM don't worry

  • Nazi Gestapo enforcers

  • The most under rated guitarist ever. Yngwie, Eddie, Paige, all are awesome, but listen to this stuff. I love it, Ted is a master.

  • u do realize what a storm trooper is?

  • arguably the high water mark for real guitar excellence!

  • I think out of Angus Young, Joe Perry, and Ted Nugent, the Nuge is the one who gets underrated the most. Long live late 70s rock

  • Dying Buffalo Noises For The Win!

  • One of the great live albums of all time. If you don't own it, you should.

  • I saw this no-talent fool play at Cal-Jam II back in '78 and he SUCKED. After playing a few lame tunes, he pretended he'd passed out. Lame...

  • @Ekdog So you don't like Ted Nugent, who cares.

  • Ted says he NEVER smoked pot or ANYTHING ! Guess he doesn't remember backstage in Seattle in 1978..... I do.

  • @fu66 I agree with everything you've said. Thanks for standing up and speaking the truth about the Motorcity Chicken Hawk.

  • smoking riffs by the motor city madman

  • You can't do much better than a bit of Uncle Ted and the way he shred.

  • Nugent crapped his trousers (literally) and dodged the draft back in the days of Vietnam and now he's a hawk on wars of aggression like Iraq and Afghanistan. This racist, fascist, chicken hawk, tea bagging piece of human excrement is a national disgrace who is laughing in the faces of the parents of the thousands of soldiers who have come back maimed or in body bags. How disgusting!

  • @Ekdog Ted could see the future....those stormtroopers are coming down your street right now, they be lookin in your windows , listen to your phones, you better keep a gun in your hand. Don't you think it's time we made a stand? And when they come, will you still be crying about Ted shitting his pants? Or will you side with the stormtroopers? I will bet my life that you will step with the stormtroopers cause you just seem like the type, a TRAITOR.

  • @blite13 the nwo tyrants are comin

  • @Ekdog not half as bad as the US gvot starting illegal wars. Soon after the U.S. bombing and invasion of Afghanistan, Unocal (recently merged with Chevron) had established a major oil pipeline through Afghanistan a territory ruled by war lords hostile to U.S. imperialism. Soon the money from the plunder of Afghanistan was filling the corporate coffers with black gold. What is the loss of a few thousand lives when there is money to be made? Let them live in the Stone Age we have created for them.

  • This "music" is nothing but rubbish played by an extreme right-wing, tea bagging, racist, fascist piece of human excrement who is a hawk on wars of aggression like Iraq and Afghanistan but back in the days of Vietnam draft dodged. Ted Nugent: a chicken hawk who is laughing in the faces of all the parents of young men and women who are coming back in body bags and those who have come back missing limbs as a result of these oil wars. How disgusting!

  • @Ekdog I doubt Ted is a racist, altough I would listen to your evidence if you have examples other than his illegal immigration views, which on it's own, does not make him a racist. I 'm not sure what you mean when you say "he is laughing in the faces of all the parents of young men and women who are comming back in body bags". When Ted was young, he wanted to play guitar and get laid. Today, anyone who wants to do the same, is free to persue that life, because their isn't a draft to dodge.

  • I'd think Ted was the Rory gallagherof the USA, if Rory had not been a best guitarist than ted,but I like very much this man and not only because he makes me remember my youth;he's really a Rocker!

  • Ted rocked in the 70's and rocks every time you play this shit!!!

  • This shit makes me laugh.Ive never heard anything so high energy.I fuckin love it

I would rather listen to this than some shredder, lol!!!!!!!!!!

  • Does this RULE or what? I listened to this with head phones on '10' before every home football game I played... i was definitely 'ready' to play after listening to Ted crank this song... the solo introduction let's you know that something is going to rip and then it keeps building and building until .... RIP.... DAMN this Rocks!

"Are you with me out there baby"?

  • I am ashamed to have existed in the '80s.... but I am proud to have been a teenager with good musical taste the 70's. I just listened to this now, as a 50 year old, and I gave my younger self a pat on the back and high five for having known good music from utter shit. When Ted says, "are you still with me out there?" I laughed out loud. He was def on a different plane. That long solo is a knockout. Mozart wishes he'd thought it up.

  • @marvy1118 The 80's were better than the 90's or today. Unless you believe that self-loathing was a suitable replacement for sex, drugs and rock n roll. Unless you believe that virtuoso musicianship being replaced by power chord rhythms is a good thing. The again you're mentioning Ted Nugent and Mozart in the same sentence and you're refering to Ted's pentatonic scale playing as being on a different plane, so your opinion should be viewed for what it is. Stick to whatever it is that you do.

  • @fukinblowme ha. All the technical virtuosity in the world couldn't make the cheap, soulless, plastic, synth-ridden '80s music tasteful. A pig wearing lipstick is still a pig. And you named yourself 'fukinblowme,' so your opinion should be viewed for what it is.

  • @fukinblowme

show me others who can scale play like that, take it for what it is, and is Mozart considered to be be on a higher plane because it was considered to be classical music, Ted would scare Mozart right off the stage

  • No one plays like this. It's Gonzolicious.

  • @themudball "Stormtroopers" actually liberated Germany----they were the good guys there, they were of the people. Here in the U.S. Obama would send his Fed goons after us, but we shouldn't call them "Stormtroopers", we should call them left-wing scum.

  • @Gravelandart bless you fellow american

  • @Gravelandart How are they coming after you? Your tin foil hat is on a little too tight, you dumbass

  • @UberKrispy --quiet you goofball----stick to watching your Jew TV---televitz you buffoon. The electronic Jew---keep watching it and hating those they tell you to hate---you know...Hitler, white people who defend themselves, "Nazis", all the bad guys.......you goofball.

  • @themudball You're kidding right ?

  • @fukinblowme mabye

  • themudball,

I love Uncle Ted. One hell of a guitarist. Very Very Very underated guitar player. One of the best. Just saw his concert here in Indy. One of the best shows ever. Make no mistake he can flat smoke but trust me, he is not better than Jimi Hendrix. Peace. Brandon

  • @petsnowflake i guess i needed to put "SARCASTIC" on the comment.

  • Alls I can say is, I feel sorry for the stormtroopers if they do come.

  • Ted Nugent Rocks So Hard !!

  • *LIVE* from the old Coliseum at Seattle Center....WICKED....NASTY....

  • Takes me back to the Summer of 1978 when I was 14 yrs and being tormented by glue sniffing dicks on my street, this song and the entire album keep me going and sane!! All my family members thought that I was possessed by demons because I listened to this kind of music!! Thanks for memories Ted!!

  • @proudhawkeye Yep, we used to slap in the Ted Nugent 8 track tape and pump iron in my neighbors garage. People would come out and tell us to turn down Ted because it was so damned loud. Great memories. I was 17 or 18 years old.

  • @bptaylor11 used to pump the iron to it too lol hes a bitch to keep up with , always ended up switchin to air guitar

  • 3:29 to 4:02 still gives me the chills, nearly 30 years after I heard this the first time. Ted rocked!

  • My favorite jam of the song too !!!!!!!

  • @deejaybee ..WE MUST BE NEAR THE SAME AGE..GONZO WAS ONE OF MY FIRST CONCERTS!..AND LIKE YOU SAID..STILL TODAY.. ;)..

  • @deejaybee Nugent crapped his trousers (literally) and dodged the draft back in the days of Vietnam and now he's a hawk on wars of aggression like Iraq and Afghanistan. • @Ekdog , you're an idiot

  • @Ekdog Wow. Um, ok. I guess that's me put in my place. Maybe I ought to have qualified my earlier comment by saying that 30 years ago I was 10 years old. I said Ted rocked. Past tense. I was referring to a 32 second passge in this tune. Maybe you could have held back on the aggression and engaged in a conversation? Maybe it crossed your mind that I may have grown up a bit since then? Maybe you might have noticed that I didn't bring politics into the argument. Maybe I was hoping for too much?

  • @Ekdog You speak the truth...The Motor City Coward is a loudmouth fuckin fraud! Fuckin chickenshit pussy that he is, talks the talk, don't walk the walk

  • @deejaybee 6:29 to 7:03 still makes me light headed after 30+years!!

  • Fuck yeah Nuge givin er READYY, READYYY, READYY STORMTROPPERS COMIN!'

  • The Greatest
