The Quran was revealed in arabic because it was the most advanced and comprehensive language at the time when Quran was being revealed and it still is the most comprehensive. if a girls diets are high in, iodine for example, it invokes early onset puberty, sometimes as young as 7 or 8.

@volound U dont get it. Its was a norm in the middle-east back then for men to marry young women. It was a tradition for girls to get married as soon as they've turned into a woman to avoid unwanted things to happen like premarital sex and stuff.

@volound Killing humans and believing the earth is flat is totally different from the culture of marrying women that has reached puberty. Prophet Muhammad first wife was 15 years older than him.Both of them lived happily till she died. Aisha was the only young wife that he married to. Even In biblical times, men marry young women too.

@volound Her age is still questionable. The Quran states that there are 3 criteria a Muslim must fulfill before he/she can get married.
1 -Sufficient Maturity to grant consent
2-Ability to sign a legal contract
3-Competence to take care of one's own finances.
Anything that Prophet Muhammad did is according to the Quran So its impossible for Aisha to be 6 years old when Prophet Muhammad asked for her hand.
