  • Hey Jason, long time no talk... sorry I've been kinda AWOL; bizzy - u know how it goes. Congrats on 150 vids and all the subs! Slingshot looks like a cool toy... kinda like a shirtless bench shirt. Keep it up brother and keep in touch!

  • @topformfitness Thanks for stopping by Josh. Always good to hear from you. Yes the slingshot is very addicting. Try it out when you get a chance brother.

  • What's the point of the slingshot thing?

  • @teensupplementking Thanks brother. 30 years.

  • I have just seen a video that some kid my age(18) posted, and he has 190 pounds.

He claims he can do 405 5 reps! And he is not a pro powerlifter. Is he full of shit or is it possible?

  • @Kneleist Anything is possible with INTENSITY and dedication brother.

  • @Kneleist He just claims he can and no video? I call BS. If he could he would probably record it.

  • steriods? or no idk

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness glad u stopped man and im subbing now

  • @JohnsonMatthewR Thanks for your support.

  • hey mr.J it would be nice if you do a video on importance of core training , some people who want to bulk up ( not training for 6 pac ) do not do crunches , are crunches , planks , core exercise important for general fitness and lifting ?

  • @feugo0 Core training is very important brother. Great video topic for a future vid. Stay tuned. And yes all of the ab ex's you mentioned are extremely important for gen. fit.

  • "im not a bodybuilding, im just building my body" hahaha

  • @DenisTheMennnace You caught that too huh? Ha, ha. Sometimes get ahead of myself.

  • Hey BJ, how can I build muscle mass and at the same time burn the fat? Cause you know I've been building some muscle in my chest, back, generally in all my body obviously but what I've noticed is that my chest doesn't look so good cause it seems like flaccid cause of the fat, so what would you recommend me to do? One thing was to keep my normal workout split but doing HIIT twice a week (insanity program) but now I think I'll do it 3 times for maximum fat burn, so what do you think?

  • @EdgarMartos Loaded question brother. Without actually seeing you would be hard to recommend anything. Send me a video and I'll give you a more educated answer.

  • i'm not sure if any else can see but the bars was bending pretty good 3:08

  • @cedrikDGAF Awesome.

  • We love ya Big J...keep keeping it real!

  • Hey, lovin the channel man...you're a beast...do you think you can do a vid on like the top 10 list of tips for plateau breaking, gaining pure strength & core thickness like power-lifters have, intensity etc. Pretty much a complication/break down of the best things you'd think we should take a note of...i know from watching your videos so far...intensity rules & train hardcore. Peace!

  • @ItachiUchiha004 Welcome. Thanks for the support. That's a lot. I'll see what I can do brother. Catch you next video.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness lol...sorry..i am one of those ppl who is slowly getting into shape, & like many guys I am more wider from the side, and flatter from the front, and for some reason it seems like all the guys who have a thick core seem to have more strength, etc. i feel like if i can somehow get achieve it, i can establish a plateau a bit farther away...btw, the grip training tip is excellent man, i am already feel my forearm growing like Popeye....thanks, i appreciate vids & tips.

  • Yer the man BIG man... and you're right Brandon's vids ARE awesome.. Come check out mah channel too buddy... :D

  • @FreshToneFitness Thanks for the support FTF! Great channel you've got too. Keep up the good work.

  • I know you said you had surgery and cant fully extend arms on bench but what about the other guy (Seth)? Is it normal for you guys to only do half of range of motion in order to look like you're lifting more than you can with proper form?

  • @ruin3r His and My range of motion is just short of 70-80% and in all honesty full range of motion with larger weights is more harmful than most people realize. Becoming lax in the fully extended position can cause serious injury to the already taxed joints and tendons. Stopping just shy of the full extension keeping tension on the muscle both builds and strengthens. So in my 30 years plus of experience I would not go back to a full extension if I could. Thanks for your comment.

  • INTENSITY RULES...lol take 2, i must have done 15 recordings for my first video :(

    thats big weights mate

  • @NaturalMuscularity Thanks Antony. Keep making those videos brother.

  • @dannyboy15157 Welcome and thanks for swinging by!

  • why use the suicide grip?!

  • @frosti0408 why not.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness because its dangerous...if the bar managed to have that bar fall out of your hands you're gonna snap some shit up!..hey if you use it you use it i was just wondering if there was a benefit to doing that

  • @frosti0408 Watch my video just posted "Nutrition Tips for Weight Loss" Will have the answer to your question. INTENSITY RULES!!

  • 405 for reps with legs on the bench !! Very good shit

  • @ela9300 Thanks Eddie.

  • Hodgetwins brought me here! as well

  • @iamcyberpunk68 Thanks for stopping by.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness hey big j how long should i rest between sets on compound movements for size?

  • @AdR1aN43 At least till you catch your breath back if not longer. If you are trying to GROW, the most important part besides fuel is recovery. Don't do aerobics to build muscle my friend.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness i feel 100% again after 1 min 30 to 2 mins. i do like 6 to 12 reps to failure is that ok?

  • @AdR1aN43 Sounds like a plan to me. Keep growing my friend.

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness ok thx. how long do u rest tho?

  • @AdR1aN43 That was my answer. Till I catch my breath and am breathing easier. I also monitor my heart rate if I get ready too quickly.

  • @Rayzor399 Thanks James. Keep training with INTENSITY my brother.

  • @VirgoMentality Thanks for the comment Virgo M. It's the only way I can hold it without pain.

  • what does the slingshot do for you ?

  • @HynoticPrime Just used it once so really did not perfect it's use. It's a lot like a squat suit that helps you out of the hole. I'll probably not use it very often. But a great device. Thanks for coming by.

  • Congradulations on the 150th!!!! Awesome bench workout! I finally know what that device is called after seeing a lot of competitive benchers use it

  • @xxkillamaynexx Thanks for your support.

  • Looking great as usual :)

  • @Bracerjack Thank you my friend.

  • Congratulations on the subs and great 150th video!

I thought the sling shot was going to make lifting harder. It looked like it increases the tension at certain ranges in the lift. Neat device, and the grip training was bad ass as always.

  • @dannyjingu Hey thanks alot Danny. Yes, loved the slingshot. How's your training going? Doing any grip training yourself?

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness I had to tone down the training, I hurt my left shoulder doing the incline press. I know I didn't warm up properly, a mistake I won't ever repeat.

L.A. Fitness doesn't have the same type of dumbells or plates like your gym does. Some of the exercises you've shown are ones I'd like to try though, like gripping two dimes and hula them.

  • @dannyjingu Be careful and hope your injury heals quickly.

  • wth was the sling shot for or what does it do?

  • @youngfred116 Keeps your form very stict. Elbows close to the body as you should have them for maximum tricep use and joint support. The slingshot also has a bottom spot that helps push the weight up successfully past the normal sticking points. I loved it. Not sure if you counted or not. I got 30 reps with 315. It def. helped. Watch the ending again

  • @BigJsExtremeFitness hell yell you're bad ass dude. thirty of anything is pretty damn good. Can't wait till the sling catches on. I could just see people in the gym starring at me lol. Good stuff and thanks for responding. You guys are hardcore and I respect that.

  • @youngfred116 Thanks and anytime my friend.

  • @youngfred116 Thanks and anytime my friend.
