I hate to say this because I am a American but Madden should be done by a Japan company. Games made in Japan kick ass! Animation is second to none, graphics, detailing, etc. Could you imagine if Madden had a story mode incorporated into it's franchise mode. Every player in the game had their own animations, own voice. Fluid game play instead of a robotic feel.

Backbreaker is way better than madden on so many levels. It isn't a bunch of animations, its an actual physics-driven engine called natural motion. You might recognize it in GTA 4

When you're getting tackled you still have control of your body as you go down.

USe common sense.

While it's certainly not perfect yet, it's definitely a big step forward animation wise. Sure, they usually stop dead in their tracks when the animation starts, but these guys haven't had much time to work with this yet.

People gave them the benefit of the doubt when they first started on XBOX 360 and PS3 because "they were getting used to the system." They should get that same benefit with this new Pro-Tak system. Two years down the road it is going to look phenomenal.
