Personally, Im glad it was Anne Hathaway, she can affect the audience with such real emotion, where as I think Keira Knightley would have made it less personal.. just another movie, preformed so perfectly its not as believable. Anne is quirky, and imperfect and I believe she really did Jane Austen justice.

If you like to read Jane Austen books, & watch the movies, I have to recommend the book, "A Bachelor's Bargain" by Catherine Palmer. I think Jane Austen reader's will like this book. It's set around the same time period as Jane's story's are.

God, I love this movie. I started crying at the end when Jane and Lefroy didn't get married. Sure, I already knew Jane was never married, and that this inspired all her other stories, etc, but I still cried, it was so good.. Hehe... So much is in resemblence to Pride and Predjudice... XD

Love James, though I would've prefered Keira Knightley to Anne Hathaway, as nice as she is, probably because I became attached to Keira from Pride and Predjudice... Hehe. Spectacular movie.

Luv this movie, love the song. This is probably one of my favorite Jane Austin Movies. The only other movie that it is competing with is Pride and Prejudice, the 2005 one. I got so mad at the end of the movie when he didn't go after her! Again, well done with the video.

I seen this video and the clips looked so great I immediately went & rented the movie. I feel in love with the movie and James McAvoy and his character Tom LeFroy.

It seems to me Jane was a true writer, which means she was a complete day dreamer. Her dreams were as real as the family she loved. Her life did not turn out the way she wanted, so she lived out her happy ending over and over in the stories that she wrote. Jane was a woman ahead of her time!

I an in love with this movie. I saw it three times. It is going to be released in Britain Sept. 21st so if anyone is from there or knows someone who will get it, try to get the movie on youtube. The US probably won't release it for another six months or so. This video is beautifully done, and the song fits perfectly. I know someone already asked, but I wanted to know too where the clips came from. I looked at the trailers and clips, which are few, and a lot of this video goes beyond that.
