Yes I met Rose in when I was about 7 or 8 .

We had a House Party and Rose was there, as was the Custom in those days everyone had to sing a song and Rose gave us a song.(cant recall the song)

She came to see her Brother,we kids never knew She was a professional Singer.

I love her singing THE TALL DARK STRANGER which was a very, very minor hit in 1961-1962. But it's been taken off You Tube!!  Kindly put it back on! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!

@davidwalsh66 As an "old" Hammersmith Palais boy, I had the pleasure of seeing Rose sing with the great Joe Loss Orchestra, a couple of times a week over a 4 year period in the early 60's. I still have many of her 45 rpm records. Fantastic singer. I know she got a bit disilusioned, and left showbusiness in 1966, to run a pub, the Norland Arms,in Holland Park, London with her new husband.

rose sang with joe loss orch for years. she sang on the radio every week for years. she made the best recording ever of MY COLOURING BOOK i would dearly love to see this as a posting. she eventually gave up the music busuness and ran a pub. she had a hit record in the earlt 1960s with A TALL DARK STRANGER. she made many records in the 1950s mainly cover versions of american hits.

rose brennan is one of the forgotton singers of 1950s and early 1960s. she had a lovely singing voice. surely someone somewhere must have some music suitable for posting. please help if you can.
