When I was a kid Nes and Snes games were 70 to 80 bucks. You kids have lucked out as game prices can be as low as 39.99 or 29.99 for new releases. We had nothing of the thing until around mid way through N64's life cycle.

Knight, What you should also understand and what the entertainment industry about piracy is that most of us are doing it because we want to check the quality of the game before buying it. For example, i dont want to buy the new Mario game because i dont have a clue what the gameplay is and i dont know anything about it and dont want to watch crappy youtube viedos showing everything. So i download it! I want to see if it is worth my time and money. Some people just download cuz they are cheap.

Also, I would like to add towards nintendo's view on ROMs. I believe they Roms are only bad if the game emulating was released in the past few years. If i buy a game for the SNES in real life, nintendo are not getting funded by it so there is no reason to find ROMs of old games bad unless the ROM is from a recently released game or console!
well looks like Wii U is the future now. and were not geting anymore Sonic 4 episode 2 for wii. its a good thing nintendo upgrade to Wii U bc thay were to behind in graphics. now thay can keep up with games like ps3 and xbox 360 games. however the ps3 and xbox 360 is still stronger then Wii U.
It's pretty stupid to put "SONIC 4: EPISODE 1" on the Wii, but don't put Episode 2 on it. It's like having an incomplete homework for school. They might as well put it on there and be done with it. It's not released yet so they might change their minds hopefully though.

It's because its Soo easy to do jus dowbload the game and burn it and stick it into the wii, like no security no ban like with the xbox or ps3. I think in order to stop the piracy, Nintendo needs to set up a better online service and make the Wii u more secure. As in like the xboxs drive can read the disc and tell if its fake.

I think games piracy could be reduced simply by shutting down those torrent downloader websites. How is it that hard? I mean, a lot of people know which ones they are, so why can't they just do that instead of all of us having to suffer by completely changing the rules? Though my golden rule is, never pirate a game if it's available to buy in any form (Retail, wiiware, PSN etc.) And if I've pirated a game and then at a later point you can buy it, I will since I've pirated it.

It's because its Soo easy to do jus dowbload the game and burn it and stick it into the wii, like no security no ban like with the xbox or ps3. I think in order to stop the piracy, Nintendo needs to set up a better online service and make the Wii u more secure. As in like the xboxs drive can read the disc and tell if its fake.

I'm surprised and really annoyed that Episode 2 was taken from the wii. They shouldn't have even put part 1 on wii if they weren't going to put them all on it.

I thought the wii version if of sonic 4 was the best I thought I graphics, controls and overall all fun was better then it's hd counter parts the ps3 version though (witch is the one I played) Its good because of its trophy support And but be able to listen to music while playing but the wii is still better to me witch really disappoints me that episode 2 is not on wii but I hope that going to bee on wii u though

They said that Generations wasn't going to be on the Wii due to the entire game being in HD. Now they say the same for Episode 2. Wasn't Unleashed in complete HD? Yet it was put on the Wii and PS2.

I think games piracy could be reduced simply by shutting down those torrent downloader websites. How is it that hard? I mean, a lot of people know which ones they are, so why can't they just do that instead of all of us having to suffer by completely changing the rules? Then only make games downloadable by actual games companies. I don't see why it's that hard to do. Why do they have to support a bill which could destroy more than help the internet?

What a shame that Sonic 4 Ep 2 won't be coming to the Wii, i like that game a lot and even though I get very frustrated with Ep 1, I like that game and I really would love to see Ep 2 for the Wii and I will download it if it becomes available on the Wii and I serously hope it does.

1. get internet connection to your wii.
2. go to the Wii Shop Channel (may need to update it)
3. press "start shopping".
4. press the big button in the middle called Wiiware
5. search for whatever game may interests you
PSN: don't know the details, but basically, you just register yourself pretty much like when you registered on youtube with a nickname and an e-mail through your PS3

I'm not too disappointed that Sonic 4 Episode 2 is not on Wiiware. I downloaded Episode 1 on Xbox live and will probably do the same with Episode 2. From what I've seen, this game might be worth the wait.
As for SOPA... I do hope that Nintendo and Sony really did drop their support for the bill. Imagine Nintendo probably did... but Sony, I have my doubts that they did. Either way, I do not see this bill passing.

Wow, Sega is stupid as hell not putting episode 2 on the Wii. Say what you want about graphical limitations, it shouldn't have been "gloryus HD" in the first place. I've said it a million times, they should have gone the megaman route and made it look just like one of the old games with 2d sprites and 16-bit music.

@RayMaster32 Legally speaking yes, it's copyright infringement since games have a 75 year copyright. Though my golden rule is, never pirate a game if it's available to buy in any form (Retail, wiiware, PSN etc.) And if I've pirated a game and then at a later point you can buy it, I will since I've pirated it.

@WalkersWonderland No, it's not stealing on two conditions. 1) You already own the item/game/movie/etc. 2) The Item/game/movie/etc. Has been discontinued, A.K.A. is no longer being manufactured, so it would be damn near impossible to find/buy in a store. At least, that's what I've been told, but it makes sense.
