i watched this and your stock video and timed both of them and noticed this is only about .4secs faster and you probably didnt even feel the improvement right? thats how it was for me when i got my exaust and intake and then i got a superchip cortex and only then did i start to realize the power increase. In other words if u wanna go faster without spending too much money, a programmer is the way to go.

@DwnNvr that didnt work...too much gas pouring in for the engine to turn off. and braking didnt do anything becasue too much power being made. even the corollas wouldnt slow down with the brakes with even less power. and too much load for the tranny to take it out of gear if you tried to put it in neutral. sometime putting it in neutral would work but most of the time it didnt.
@DwnNvr yours wasnt one that was messing up tho....something happens when the gas pedal sticks that is not just the gas pedal. im sure out of all the people this has happened to, at least 25% of them who got killed had thought of everything you would have done. some that lived went on for miles, one even ran out of gas, one called the cops and they were able to get to him and get a car in front of him and apply the brakes to slow both cars down. toyota even said its not the gas pedal messing up

@DwnNvr i watched a show that had an audio clip of a police officer with his wife and 2 kids where he called 911 and tried everything they told him to do before he called and while on the phone, nothing worked and they ended up crashing into a busy intersection going over 80mph and it killed them. it was hard to listen to. a police officer is trained and used to having to think under pressure. it is most likely a computer problem that possibly disables stuff like braking while malfunctioning

Btw the hand break, which would be used in an emergency situation like this has no computer control. Even if that broke being in neutral he could slow down eventually.

@timmypstyle for instance my dad's 00 GMC sierra had a recall on the brake sensors. when going 5mph or less the sensor thinks the truck is stopped so if you apply the brakes, nothing happens. sensor was in an area that rain and snow corroded it and it messed up. our mechanic said he drove it and almost went thru his garage when he applied the brakes because they didnt engage. it was a recall so there was no reason for him to lie plus he has been our family's mechanic for about 20 years.

you aughta get the TRD supercharger that you can get from a toyota dealership. boosts horsepower to 504 and 550 lb ft of torque, for $5,875, a bit pricey, but if you got the money, that's pretty much ram srt-10 power there

Srt10 dodge does better 0-60s thats the 500hp really hauls and how they have there gearing set, depends, cause they can set there gearing where it does faster 1/4 with a more spread out powerband so it keeps its accel up after 60mph.
i like the srt-10, i just dont think a 500hp viper motor was a good idea haha, if they would have used like a smaller motor but supercharged would have pulled better times and been lighter.

Try it on a straight road instead of a downhill and then post the video. That is BS that a truck does 0-60 in 5 secs cuz it has maybe 390 hp and a compact car that weighs 3000lbs will do it in 4.7. Now you are telling me a car that has horrible aerodynamics and that weighs 5000lbs + does it in 5.6? I DONT THINK SO. Oh by the way, did I mention I owned a 06 Tundra about a month ago? So i guess i know that mine did it in about 7.
06 has a weak little 4.8 that makes like 290 hp. its the 400 lb ft of torque that makes the 5.7....most cars are lacking in torque where trucks make up for it.
your 06 has nothing in common with the 07. it is a brand new truck with a much bigger, stronger motor and torque. all of the magazines have tested them in the mid 6's o-60 so 5.6 with mods is very possible.

The 0-60 on the Gt500 is basically the same as the KR. BTW the Gt500 is only 55k (Not the KR) The KR pulls away at around 100 mph lol.

you aughta get the TRD supercharger that you can get from a toyota dealership. boosts horsepower to 504 and 550 lb ft of torque, for $5,875, a bit pricey, but if you got the money, that's pretty much ram srt-10 power there

true that man. that most the reason ford lighting beats the SRT-10 dodge got to excited about the Viper motor they kinda spaced off the weight factor.. 500hp dosnt help much with to much weight.

lightning doesn't beat the srt10... in a race at least. pound for pound yes the lightning is better but theres many factors that are arguable

top speed and the 1/4 im pretty sure they do.
Srt10 dodge does better 0-60s thats the 500hp really hauls and how they have there gearing set, depends, cause they can set there gearing where it does faster 1/4 with a more spread out powerband so it keeps its accel up after 60mph.
i like the srt-10, i just dont think a 500hp viper motor was a good idea haha, if they would have used like a smaller motor but supercharged would have pulled better times and been lighter.

yea i love dodge and i'll pick them over any other truck when i buy one here in a few months but yea its a heavy truck and i think the engineers wanted to keep it that way carry on tradition and its looks. idk its a thought lol

i think its kinda cool in away, so ford woulda have a better low end motor "cummins" and dodge would have a better top end motor "powerstroke"

should use an AEM intake. It makes better sound and it pumps out more HP. look at my video's of the 4.7 with the AEM

BTW: I picked a fight with a ricer on the way home from the dealership this morning. He had more stickers than a hippies VW bus! Anyway it was a nissan 240sx I think. Told him 20.00 light to light. 01DodgeRam360, could you imagine what it will do after it has a supercharger? I know it adds over an extra 100hp and with that 6 speed transmission it will be unrealistic. I will race anyone up to 100mph when my project is done, now I'm going to take it for a spin, I love the power of this true "muscle truck"

Try it on a straight road instead of a downhill and then post the video. That is BS that a truck does 0-60 in 5 secs cuz it has maybe 390 hp and a compact car that weighs 3000lbs will do it in 4.7. Now you are telling me a car that has horrible aerodynamics and that weighs 5000lbs + does it in 5.6? I DONT THINK SO. Oh by the way, did I mention I owned a 06 Tundra about a month ago? So i guess i know that mine did it in about 7.

06 has a weak little 4.8 that makes like 290 hp. its the 400 lb ft of torque that makes the 5.7....most cars are lacking in torque where trucks make up for it.

My regular cab short bed 5.7 will go 0-60 well under 6 seconds stock. Thats the norm. The double cabs are just over 6 seconds.

It's WELL DOCUMENTED that the 2007 Toyota Tundra with the 5.7 liter engine can go 0-60 in under 7 seconds.
381 horsepower is a TON of power.

your 06 has nothing in common with the 07. it is a brand new truck with a much bigger, stronger motor and torque. all of the magazines have tested them in the mid 6's o-60 so 5.6 with mods is very possible.

dude your and idiot, the new tundra has almost 100 more horses and idk how much torque...my dad has a 05 tundra double cab and it doesnt have half the pull my 07 5.7 liter does, get your facts straight, go test drive one, it will do what this guys says.

Wow... Your comparing a 4.7L to a 5.7L. Almost a whole 100hp more, not to mention the torque. We owned a 00 4.7L, it was quick yes, but our new 07 Limited 5.7L with exhaust is defiantly alot quicker.

I guess you have not even test driven the new I-FORCE V8 because your right. My old 190hp Tacoma could keep up with the 4.7 liter V8 but not this 5.7 liter beast!

Well if you wanna get technical it's 5.6 seconds lol but yeah I do plan on supercharging in the next 6 months. Then my only issues will be traction :)
