  • Reasonable 0-60 time but quite a slow 0-100mph time in comparason... 9-10 seconds from 60-100? in a car with over 330RWHP? So what's that? 375-400 @ the fly? I take it that this car is a big truck or something lol

  • @V6POWA It's a big Toyota Tundra aka flying brick :) you should watch my newer videos with the supercharger, a little faster now

  • WOW, a 5sec truck..... thats great!

  • Comment removed

  • @TheZ06Drifter What does anybody do anything? Cause they want to probably. Why do you drift your Z06? If you don't really have a Z06 and don't drift it then why did you name your account that? Truth is it doesn't really matter and to each their own. Good day to you sir.

  • @MikeCheat04 i guess so , its your money not mine , here's an advice tho " you can only get so much traction on a truck" , supercharging it will only allow you to burn rubber , but if that's what your in to then have at it buddy ... Good day to you sir !

  • Shits weak

  • Not bad for a truck!

  • 2010 tundras are alot different than 2007 tundras. second gear ends at 60 and ive noticed alot of other things too

  • i watched this and your stock video and timed both of them and noticed this is only about .4secs faster and you probably didnt even feel the improvement right? thats how it was for me when i got my exaust and intake and then i got a superchip cortex and only then did i start to realize the power increase. In other words if u wanna go faster without spending too much money, a programmer is the way to go.

  • liar, tell that to the ppz whos pedals got stuck and went plowing through an interesction. plus that instrument cluster looks like crap, the numbers are all bunched up.

  • @Tungsten23 Those people are stupid. if that happens simply turn the car off and break. Very simple.

  • @DwnNvr that didnt work...too much gas pouring in for the engine to turn off. and braking didnt do anything becasue too much power being made. even the corollas wouldnt slow down with the brakes with even less power. and too much load for the tranny to take it out of gear if you tried to put it in neutral. sometime putting it in neutral would work but most of the time it didnt.

  • @timmypstyle Shouldn't be, I've done it before. Once the engine is off just brake.

  • @DwnNvr yours wasnt one that was messing up tho....something happens when the gas pedal sticks that is not just the gas pedal. im sure out of all the people this has happened to, at least 25% of them who got killed had thought of everything you would have done. some that lived went on for miles, one even ran out of gas, one called the cops and they were able to get to him and get a car in front of him and apply the brakes to slow both cars down. toyota even said its not the gas pedal messing up

  • @timmypstyle correction, toyota said that the recalled/replaced pedals may still do the same thing. sound like a computer issue to me.

  • @timmypstyle The engine wasn't the problem, therefore it will work. Go try it on your car in a empty parking lot if you want, btw the car i did it in is a yaris. These people panicked and didn't do common sense things.

  • @DwnNvr i watched a show that had an audio clip of a police officer with his wife and 2 kids where he called 911 and tried everything they told him to do before he called and while on the phone, nothing worked and they ended up crashing into a busy intersection going over 80mph and it killed them. it was hard to listen to. a police officer is trained and used to having to think under pressure. it is most likely a computer problem that possibly disables stuff like braking while malfunctioning

  • @timmypstyle Without seeing it i wouldn't believe, no offence. But not only could he turn off the engine he could also slip it into neutral and then apply breaks. Btw the hand break, which would be used in an emergency situation like this has no computer control. Even if that broke being in neutral he could slow down eventually.

  • @DwnNvr he tried, both did not work. and i agree about the handbrake, but with it most likely being a foot pedal, some are too easy to push a little too far where you could lose control. but thats a risk you take i guess. im pretty sure it was on a CNN show back in june or july for the 911 audio clip. i really think it is a computer problem or something wrong with some sensors on the cars. sometimes the cars are controlled by too many unneccesary parts and they cause more problems.

  • @timmypstyle for instance my dad's 00 GMC sierra had a recall on the brake sensors. when going 5mph or less the sensor thinks the truck is stopped so if you apply the brakes, nothing happens. sensor was in an area that rain and snow corroded it and it messed up. our mechanic said he drove it and almost went thru his garage when he applied the brakes because they didnt engage. it was a recall so there was no reason for him to lie plus he has been our family's mechanic for about 20 years.

  • @timmypstyle To many electronic controls that cause problems, that i do believe. It'll just get worse with more and more serious effects. Let me add to a previous statement for other people. When i said turn off the vehicle, i didn't mean turning the key all the way. That will cause power everything to go away and likely cause the steering wheel to lock.

  • what intake you got? im lookin at a knn 77 series for mine, but im open to others, any suggestions?

  • liike how there is no real slow points nice man

  • Nice! The 2010 5.7L looks wicked! Plus, this truck is actually American made! We have a plant here in Indiana making these... gotta love it!

  • @agentl074 It's built in America but the design is Japanese lol.

  • @anime891 no it was designed buy GST (Global Sales Toyota). Designed and built by North American people for North American buyers, the Japan part of Toyota had nothing to do with it except provide the emblems lol

  • @strumem90 You don't even know what you're talking about. GST stands for Gulf State Toyota, and I don't see any information that says it was designed here in the US, only that it is assembled in Texas.

  • @anime891 alright I think I got the GST mixed up with something else. The N.A Toyota designers designed and built the Toyota Tundra in N.A. Japan doesn't even know what a big truck is, thus why Global Toyota or whatever it is called built it from the ground up in North America. Just because it has a Toyota emblem on it doesn't mean it came from overseas....only a handfull of Toyotas are actually built in Japan

  • @strumem90 Send me the article you're reading this from.

  • @anime891 witch....the Tundra or the list of "Imports" built here in Canada?

  • @strumem90 I don't care about cars being built anywhere. I just want to see where it's not a Japanese design.

  • @anime891 toyota.com/upfitters/pdfs/about/AboutToyotaandtheTundraFeb07.pdf

  • @anime891 Most of the "foreign" cars you see are designed and built in America. The nameplate doesn't always tell the whole story.

  • @geterdonein01 Nope not most. Some. And I looked into it and I was wrong about the Tundra not being built here in North America.

  • @anime891 It was actually designed in California.

  • @agentl074 its also made in Texas too. in San Antonio

  • not bad

  • OK FACTS PEOPLE!! GO lOOK THEM UP!! FIRST TUNDRA 07+ CAN TOW UP TO 10,000 lbs!! SECOND THERE IS A TUNDRA DUALLY thats tows 24tons, LOVELY USA WONT ALLOW IT HERE BECAUSE FORD WILLL GET RAN RIGHT OVER!! AND THIRD THIS IS A FUCKING TRUCK DUHHHHHH YOU CAN BEAT IT SPEED WISE {ITS MADE FOR FUCKING TOWING}. FOURTH AMERICANS AS SMART AS WE ARE FUCKING ARE MAKE TUNDRA's ENGINE IN ALABAMA!! DO YOU RESEARCH BEFORE MAKING SMART ASS COMMENTS

  • Are you mad, cause the CAPS LOCK shit is just plain dumb as hell. BTW Tundra's suck major balls

  • hahahaha, a tundra dually that tows 24 tons? That's such an insanely ridiculous number, i have a hard time believing you're not mentally challenged.

  • @karlmalone11 uh yeah i seen a 4 banger ranger pull 48 tons in neutral.....

  • 24 tons.........you need to be in an insane asylum

  • my f-150 tows 15,000 lbs. who gives a shit. If you want a fast POS thats in the shop twice a month get a toyota, if you work for a living get a ford!

  • why the fuck are you talking shit about a toyota 1. your name is tacoma54?? and a ford licks major testicles . and my friends f150 has a hard time pulling his boat out of the water

  • go fuck your mother fag. I have owned Fords since the 90's without a problem. @Clayton6699 your a failure. You know nothing about vehicles. Someday you'll learn.

  • one day you'll learn that fords suck major testicles.

  • hahahaha nicely said!!!!!

  • @Clayton6699

Hahaha yeah but if you drive a FORD/DODGE/CHEVY it wont kill you. hhahaaha

  • @lespaul12001 neither will a toyota

  • I just love this truck, so fast compare to any another truck, so much power and comfort

    Great noise too

  • Okay, larryadam2 and dukviper90, you both talk like hicks, and quit trying to criticize each others spelling. The both of you put the entire You Tube community to shame. You both act like your twelve, although a twelve year old would most likely be smarter than the both of you combined. By the way, your spelling is atrocious.

  • still doesn't beat a good old hemi

  • well it beats the ram...which is a hemi.. not old but a hemi.

  • not all rams are hemi's dumb fuck

  • what kind of comment is that? All rams today, the top engine is a 5.7 hemi.

  • Wrong man not all of them come with hemis most come with a 4.7L

  • Did u not read my comment. The "TOP" engine is a hemi. just like in the tundra its a 5.7 instead of the new 4.6. get it.

  • Were the hell are you geting 4.6 its a 4.7 i dont care about a tundra hell it dont even come with a box frame and what are you talken about top engine the 5.7 is a complete hemi not just the top whatever that means.

  • (facepalm) you seem very brain dead. The top or the the biggest engine in both the tundra and the ram is a 5.7. The rams 5.7 is a hemi and the toyotas 5.7 is an "I force". toyota introduced the new 4.6 liter dual VVT-1 for 2010 which replaces the 4.7 in the tundra. The new 4.6 has a whoping 310 hp and 327 lb ft of torque. It also returns a 20+ highway mpg.

  • Also, its sad that most people like u only ever argue about the tundras frame. Well, in case u didn't know, big giant semis and f series HD's, that includes f250's and 350's, all uses a trapezoidal three section frame. A trapezoidal frame allows a trcuk to tow a lot better because it increases horizontal and lateral strength but of course lacks payload as u can see the tundra can only haul 1400-1800 lbs.

  • Dude how fucking stupid are you.Your ganna compare a 3 axle semi to a fucking tundra and the superduty wow the tundra dosent haul 80,000 pounds like a diesel so stop being stupid and im talken about hemi engines dip shit.

  • Naa if u would read your comment to yourself, u sound like a litter 12 year old trying to talk tough like he knows. I wasnt comparing tundra too a tractor trailer, just saying they utilize that frame technology. It has been proven to be great, and how come u didnt bring up the f series Hd in your argment? I think they are pretty comparable to a half ton. I suggest u stop talking.

  • First off i did bring up the f series i said SUPERDUTY witch is a fucking f series you stupid fuck you dont even no shit about trucks and i think your the one thats 12 idoit you cant even spell LITTLE right nice going make your self look smart retard.NOW i suggest u stop talking unless you got somthing smart to say you little kid.

  • well, if u were so smart, then why wont u prove me wrong. Explain to me why i am wrong, enlighten me with your knowledge. Becase from your previous post all you are doing is throwing verbal assaults at me proving furthermore that u are a LITTER bastard.

  • You are really really stupid dude the zo6 is 0-60 3.6 1/4 11.89 127mph the gt500 0-60 4.3 1/4 12.6 115mph so im sure that your shelbly is not going to smoke shit and plus the kr is the one they tested againest the z06 and the kr costed more at 86grand pretty sad that it cost the much and cant put up better numbers.Go check it out insideline video so it will enlighten your knowledge you idoit.

  • Wow, now u got me completely comfused. That has nothing to do with our argument. ^^^ dumbest post of the year award goes to LARRYADAM2 (hand of applause)

  • yah dude what a retard he went from frame strength to corvette times lol loser

  • The 0-60 on the Gt500 is basically the same as the KR. BTW the Gt500 is only 55k (Not the KR) The KR pulls away at around 100 mph lol.

  • @dukviper90 they do have a diesel

  • POWER!!!!

  • you aughta get the TRD supercharger that you can get from a toyota dealership. boosts horsepower to 504 and 550 lb ft of torque, for $5,875, a bit pricey, but if you got the money, that's pretty much ram srt-10 power there

  • without the ram weight ;).. rams are some heavy bitches.

  • true that man. that most the reason ford lighting beats the SRT-10 dodge got to excited about the Viper motor they kinda spaced off the weight factor.. 500hp dosnt help much with to much weight.

Nice video to man, the 07 tundras are sick

  • lol i see u everywhere u must like tundras? i wish i had one too lift it and go mudding!!

  • hahah yea pretty much, tundra and lightning are like my favorit trucks, hahah

  • i just found out that motor trend got the tundra regular cab supercharged to do 0-60 in 4.4 seconds!! go to motortrend and check it out!

  • yea see that ican believe man, i just cant really believe the Under 4sec. one but thats still man, puts my truck in the dust.

  • lightning doesn't beat the srt10... in a race at least. pound for pound yes the lightning is better but theres many factors that are arguable

  • top speed and the 1/4 im pretty sure they do.

Srt10 dodge does better 0-60s thats the 500hp really hauls and how they have there gearing set, depends, cause they can set there gearing where it does faster 1/4 with a more spread out powerband so it keeps its accel up after 60mph.

i like the srt-10, i just dont think a 500hp viper motor was a good idea haha, if they would have used like a smaller motor but supercharged would have pulled better times and been lighter.

  • yea i love dodge and i'll pick them over any other truck when i buy one here in a few months but yea its a heavy truck and i think the engineers wanted to keep it that way carry on tradition and its looks. idk its a thought lol

  • haha yea, i think everyones putting there fast trucks on hold tho, witch is a good idea in this econ.

Ford and Dodge are sharing powerstroke an cummins now. haha my jaw droped when i heard that.

the new F650 comes in 3 different motors

    Cat diesel

    Cummins Diesel

    an Powerstroke diesel

and dodge has talk about using a powerstroke on a few of there 2500s

    but you know its talk.

Ford lightning and Dodge srt-10 both awsome trucks in enginnering and performance tho.

  • agreed

but really?! it wouldn't really be a ford if it has a cummins

or a dodge with a powerstroke... thats really odd. but hey a diesel is made for industry so i guess theres nothing wrong with that

  • yep, the brand new F650 has a siick new cummins

there doin that cause alot of people dont like dodge but like cummins or dont like ford but like powerstroke,

i think its kinda cool in away, so ford woulda have a better low end motor "cummins" and dodge would have a better top end motor "powerstroke"

GM`s doin there own thing john deer is suppose to start helpin them out i dout there rid of the duramax tho.

  • believe it or not ford owns the cummins motor....dodge buys the rights too them... they have a contract which just expired recently

  • damn that is fast

  • should use an AEM intake. It makes better sound and it pumps out more HP. look at my video's of the 4.7 with the AEM

  • how many hp

  • Haven't dynoed my personally. Stock ones average around 320rwhp so maybe 330-335rwhp for mine?

  • actually he is probably going slightly uphill. Mine is faster than yours. It pulls a little stronger all the way to 115

  • BTW: I picked a fight with a ricer on the way home from the dealership this morning. He had more stickers than a hippies VW bus! Anyway it was a nissan 240sx I think. Told him 20.00 light to light. No traffic on the road, I beat him senseless but he sped off and never paid up. That's O.K. I was smiling all the way home.

  • 01DodgeRam360, could you imagine what it will do after it has a supercharger? I know it adds over an extra 100hp and with that 6 speed transmission it will be unrealistic. I will race anyone up to 100mph when my project is done, now I'm going to take it for a spin, I love the power of this true "muscle truck"

  • I HATE TUNDRAS, BUT WOW!

  • 06 has a weak little 4.8 that makes like 290 hp. its the 400 lb ft of torque that makes the 5.7....most cars are lacking in torque where trucks make up for it.

  • My regular cab short bed 5.7 will go 0-60 well under 6 seconds stock. Thats the norm. The double cabs are just over 6 seconds.

  • It's WELL DOCUMENTED that the 2007 Toyota Tundra with the 5.7 liter engine can go 0-60 in under 7 seconds.

381 horsepower is a TON of power.

  • your 06 has nothing in common with the 07. it is a brand new truck with a much bigger, stronger motor and torque. all of the magazines have tested them in the mid 6's o-60 so 5.6 with mods is very possible.

  • dude your and idiot, the new tundra has almost 100 more horses and idk how much torque...my dad has a 05 tundra double cab and it doesnt have half the pull my 07 5.7 liter does, get your facts straight, go test drive one, it will do what this guys says.

  • @thisisdudewhoru the new tundra has a 5.7L engine with 381 hp :). It's performance is simply amazing! and it's power..simply powerful

  • Wow... Your comparing a 4.7L to a 5.7L. Almost a whole 100hp more, not to mention the torque. We owned a 00 4.7L, it was quick yes, but our new 07 Limited 5.7L with exhaust is defiantly alot quicker.

Get your facts right before you bash someone.

  • I guess you have not even test driven the new I-FORCE V8 because your right. My old 190hp Tacoma could keep up with the 4.7 liter V8 but not this 5.7 liter beast!

  • damn

    thats real fast

  • no way

  • nice one mike

  • Well if you wanna get technical it's 5.6 seconds lol but yeah I do plan on supercharging in the next 6 months. Then my only issues will be traction :)

  • @MikeCheat04 Thats a good issue to have! lol

  • dude zero to sixty in 5 seconds thats really fuckin fast supercharge that thing and it would be unstoppable!

  • Wow thats fast!
