At least Haye is trying to bring some excitement to the heavys. Povetkin is an unspectacular pressure fighter & thompson is a slick, overly-defensive, unpowerful fighter, he still he does deserves a shot tho, but both are boring in and out of the ring. Povetkin does attack but doesn't have pure ko power and he has no charisma. Thompson has no power and is dead quiet so haye is the only person that can bring interest to the heavys from non-boxing fans so good luck to him. Klitchko still wins tho

Haye is a loudmouth. He hasn't beaten anyone at heavyweight of significance. Klitschko has too much power and experience for Haye, and knock him out easily.
Haye is all talk, yes he has skills but nobody likes a loudmouth who demands things rather than proves he's worthy of a title shot.

NOONE KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN. Everyone saying - Klitschko will win, or Haye will rule - are just guessing. We have two guys - both with suspect chins - one tall, overly defensive and extremely boring. And the other - smaller, exciting and fast. If Haye will carry his speed + his chin will improve (happened to some fighters moving up, cos they didn't have to continue to drain themselves to make weight - ex Cotto) - he'll be favourite over everyone. If not - he can be beat by someone B+ class.

omg look how ppl buy into the haye hype. klitschko is NOT fighting bums. thompson is ranked no1 and hasnt lost in 7 years, hes waited a long time for his shot and he deserves it. povetkin (wlads IBF defense) is an unbeaten prospect with an excellent amatuer pedigree (olympic gold) and people are calling him the future of the division. steve bunce has little or nothing relevant to say for himself, exactly what relevant insight did he give there?

Chrison: The British public will be behind Haye because he's clearly a man of his word. He said in the Enzo post-fight interview that he was going after the top heavyweights and that's exactly what he's done here by confronting Klitschko one on one. He fought Enzo Mac when he didn't even need to and that was largely to satisfy the British public demand for the fight. Haye is a people's champion.

Many people are saying the fight shouldn't happen cos Klitchko would win, even tho haye is the only heavyweight with charisma and the only heavy that would make it an entertaining fight and the only heavy that can bring in non- boxing and casual fans. thompson has only lost 1 fight by point in his whole professional career (at his early stages) and has twice as many as win that haye has had in his cruiserweight career.

you are absolutely right that haye said bonin was ranked no 11 by wbc, but do you know at that time oleg maskaev was the wbc world champion and there were even contender ranked higher than oleg maskaev in the over-all heavyweight ranking.
Maskaev was ranken no9 in the over-all ranking so bonin was ranked some-where near 90 in the over-all ranking. Klitschko has been ranked no1 in the over-all ranking for sometime.
Being ranked by no 10 by 1 bell mean nothing especially when there 5-6 belts
