We re-watched the first two episodes of the first series on DVD last night. It was like watching an entire season of ideas distilled into an hour.

Anyone who hasn't bought it yet should do: regardless of what's on YouTube, it's the most fun per NZ cent that you'll get out of a DVD.

Also, the pastiches on YouTube only tell half of the story on their own: their slightly stilted delivery as pasticheurs makes sense when you realise that the series' characters of Bret and Jermaine are so plain odd.
