  • Your tutorial was very very helpful. The technique is amazing, I watch a few videos on how to create a hair line and baby hair. Your was the most natural looking. thanks

  • Did this piece come with baby hairs?

  • @nappytdy08 No

  • I like this alot

  • @miechajbaybee Thanks

  • Can you do this in a human hair wig

  • @YNOBE22280 I never have, but I am sure you could probably do it. Thanks for watching.

  • where can i buy a lace front with light grey curly hair that i can attach to an old hairpiece instead of buying a full hairpiece

    rafreg15

  • @rafreg15 LH boutique dot com has a lace front selection separated by color. They have a "silver tone" category where they list all their wigs that come in grey. I saw a few curly one sin that section that might work for you. I've never ordered from them before, but perhaps they might have something you would like. Hope this helps.

  • Where can I get Gia or who is it by?

  • Amazing I love it

  • where did you get lace front and what type is it? and did you glue it?

  • Do you have to use glue or tape???

  • @destiny5005 I just use bobby pins.

  • when you tweezed the hairline did you take the same amount of hair out everywhere or did you take out more hair in some places and less in others

  • @BrowniieBeauty It wasn't really exact. I would say tweeze it until it looks good in your opinion.

  • Awesome!! Will this work with full lace wigs...the ones with the French or Swiss lace?

    Thanks so much!

  • @Yanninyree I would say yes, but be gentle.

  • I'm rocking Drew now, I haven't done your method yet, but I'm not a huge baby hair person and I'm wondering if it will look fake on me because of that. On the other hand, I'm having issues with the lace in the front of my head because I can see it and I'm a bit self-conscious. The baby hairs will definitely cover that up. The only thing is I find the hairline kind of sparse already since it has a "natural hairline" as per them and I'm wondering what I should be tweezing :S

  • @montREALady Instead of tweezing maybe you can pull out a tinyyyyy bit of your hair around the edges. Hope this helps.

  • I do have a widows peak, how would you do that one differently?

  • @SagittarianHeat1 Maybe you could tweeze a widows peak into the hairline of the wig so it resembles your own hairline.

  • THx! That really helped!

  • Hi Martina. I'd like to know if this method will work on the part of a lace front? I've tried the makeup technique to make my part look more natural to no avail. Thanks in advance!

  • @ladyquay Yes, it should work. I have tweezed my crown and part on certain wigs just to make them look a little thinner and more natural. Hoe this helps.

  • @BridezillaMartina It absolutely helped. Thank you for replying so quickly girly! Enjoy your weekend.

  • i have a lace front wig that is different than my natural color..its hard to manipulate the sideburn area..how do yu suggest i work this out? maybe use the baby hair method n [clear] gel it down?? what do yu propose?

  • @PunkRockDynasty Hey, I do this all of the time. Just make sure your edges are slicked back under your wig. And then pull the wig down to cover your edges. If you can't do that, then camouflage the hair with baby hair from the wig. You can also try adding some of your face foundation to your edges if you are wearing a brown/blondish wig. Hoe this helps.

  • OMG! found your channel through Juicy magazine online, subbing, wow!

  • @JuJuSassofClass Thanks

  • your really good at this.

  • @ihavenaturalhair thanks

  • what kinda texture is that, is that afro kinky curly?

  • @nothinghumanlovesfor Very kinky curly with some afro thrown in. It's curlier in the front, ans more kinky in the back and middle.

  • hey can i still do this if my lacefront has babyhair already?? please write back

  • @BOMBchickTVx1 Yes, I do this even if the wig comes with baby hair. Just add the extra hair that you want by following the steps in the video. Thanks for watching.

  • fan-freaking-tastic!! i really want to wig out this winter as a protective style and this is gonna help sooo much! i could kiss you xoxo (lol)

  • i am definitely gonna give this a try! i'm new to the whole lace front thing and before i saw this i was pullin my own hair out to cover the lace but after it rained on me i knew i needed another method lol :-) thxn 4 the vid

  • I had a lacefront before and ewwwwwwww It was the wordt.. im doing the big chop. So I need to start somewhere. Do you think with me cut my hair off it will still stay on my head. I really dont want a flyin tumble weed going down 5th ave.

  • @cocothicknessma LOL, it will stay on there. Just use two bobby pins on each side.

  • i have never tried lace fronts because the hair line is so fake on them....im going to try it now. you are really smart and creative...this is awesome....cant wait to give it a tr...thanks

  • Thank you soo much for this video. I have alopecia areata (hair loss) and have been wearing wigs since I was about 8 yrs old. I love lace fronts but always had a problem with that straight line so I kind of gave up on them. But thanks to you I will be trying them again. Hopefully mine will turn out as beautiful as the ones you have.

  • @heezworthy Thanks so much. Let me know if you have any questions when you get ready to tweak yours. Take care.

  • U R Beautiful Great tut!! Getting this wig using your technique!

  • @destinygodley Thanks!

  • Wow... CreAtive!!! Lovin it!

  • @LambdaLady07 Thanks

  • Thank you so much for this video. I have this wig and because of your unselfish nature I know how to make my lace wig look more natural. Thank you very much!

  • @kimkim72 Thank you

  • OMG, this is awesome

    I'll post if I'm successful

  • @snhembrey Good luck :)

  • This vid is just what I needed. Question, is it easy to pull the hair from the lace on a synthetic wig with the hard lace? And what kind of tweezer is good to use to grip the hair. Thank you so much!

  • @msccadams Thanks! It is very easy to pull the hair out. You just have to be sure to avoid pulling the lace. If you pull the lace, it might tear. Any tweezers will work for the job. Good luck.

  • This process would serve to correct an error in the measurements? For example, if we have ordered our lace and this comes large in some measures. For example, excesses of lace over the ears. I do not mean the excess lace to be cut, I mean hair lace because we have measured in excess. Would it be a solution, cut the excess and make tweezing for a look more realistic? thanks

  • @SofiaSG81 I am not sure, but you could certainly try.

  • Great job...... I liked the video so much i went out and bought me a lace front to try this out on and it turned out AMAZING. Doesn't even look like a wig.

  • @sassy305 Awesome!

  • This is the best lace wig tutorial on Youtube ever! May God bless you for sharing it..

  • @Decis86 Aw, thanks!

  • This is the best lace wig or any tutorial on Youtube ever! May God bless you for sharing it..

  • This video is much needed to all the scalywags rocking a mcdonalds arched shaped fake piece of hair...even though weave and lacefronts are terrible at least this woman's hair looks more natural.

  • wow i really learned something thank u so much beautiful ...new subbie here btw God bless

  • @PhasionQueen27 Thanks so much! Welcome to my channel!

  • @dominicana345 Thank you

  • I have a new lace thats straight on top and curls on the bottom. The baby hairs keep sticking up like flyaways. what do i do?

  • @Skaulitz267 I would put a little water on a toothbrush and then use it to brush the edges down. The water should "set" the hair.

  • Wow!so nice;) just wat i was looking for..

She is pretty..love ur make up too... rily nice

  • your hair looks bomb girl!! it I wasn't sitting here watching this I would have never known this was a wig!!! great job!

  • @Pr3tTyR0sE92 Thanks

  • Can you wear drew in a puff? You know like when people have natural hair they tie a string and tuck it under, its kinda like a ponytail. How does it look if you had a clip in the back holding the hair up or just lifted it up? if you washed the wig what products did you use and how did you do it? Did the curls go back in place?

I'm so sorry for the bunch of question and it looks fabulous and natural on you :D

  • @kookypuff23 Thanks so much. Your question inspired me to try a puff with her. I made a video on it last week. I have been wearing her in a puff ever since...lol. The puff is too cute!

  • Im soooooo happy I came across this video I have been wanting to buy a lacefront for so long but havn't because I see so many women with that perfect moon hairline, that I was completely turned off, BUT THIS looks natural, Thank you :)

  • @1helluvawomen Thanks

  • That's a wig???? WOW LOL. It looks soooo real.

  • @potterylady1 Thanks

  • Do you ever wear your hair without the wigs? I'm sure it would look nice :)

  • @TheLeena7 I wear my hair mostly.

  • very realistic

  • @GigiShiree Thanks

  • @ShawneesJourney07 Sure! I can do that when I get my next wig. Stay tuned! Thanks for watching :)

  • @BridezillaMartina: yes!!!! too excited! ordering my drew wig right now! so I'll wait for your new video before I do anything to drew! Thanks so much!!!! :)

  • Love this. cnt wait to try it!

  • I love your teeth and your smile...I know that's probably weird to you but I just wanted to tell you. And I LOVE that hair on you!

  • @brittybear9742 Aw, thanks!

  • Hi Martina.......your very talented. =) I was wondering would you know where I would be able to get a wig head?

  • @Lstlouis777 Thaks! I got mine from my local beauty supply store for realllllly cheap. I think it was like 2 or 3 bucks! The styrofoam ones are cheap, and most beauty supply stores should have them. You just have to ask them.

  • @BridezillaMartina thank you chicka =)

  • ok I just got my wig today... this is my first lace front so dnt really know what I'm doing. This maybe a dumb question but, Do you cut the lace all the way up to the hair line of the wig?? what is the purpose of the lace anyway??

  • @251kbaby Hey! You cut the the lace off right in front of the hairline. You basically want to cut as much of the lace off as possible WITHOUT cutting off any of the hair. The lace is there to blend in with your skin and make the hairs looks as if they are growing from your scalp. Hope this helps.

  • @Tesha410 Thanks for watching!

  • Wow great video so helpful

  • @MyPureBeauty10 Thanks:)

  • it did help thanx......i one more question,,,,,,,,, do you know what type of product i best to take care of my synthetic wig? i recently bought one but i didnt like the way it leaves my hair

  • @PynshessB Awesome! I use 4 things for my wigs:

1.) My "Annie" paddle brush with metal bristles. It's model # 2214.

    2.) DeMert Wig Shampoo

3.) Organic Natural Weave and Wig Conditioner & Detangler. It is good for both human and synthetic hair and is oil free. You can use this daily or maybe a few times a week. Works well with curly hair.

4.) Organic Natural Weave and Wig Silky Shine Mist. This is an oil free product that makes dull wigs shine. It is great to use every once in a while, not daily.

  • wow it actually does look natural, but how would you do it if you have a straight lace fron wig? i tried cutting babby hair but it kindda stix up

  • @PynshessB I do it the same way. I dampen my toothbrush just a little and then brush down the straight hair. This is a great way to get them to lay down without the use of product. You don't want to get them drenched though, just wet enough to stay put. If you do get them drenched I would suggest letting them dry a little before leaving the house. That way it doesn't have the "gelled down" greasy effect. Hope this helps :)

  • Excellent video! I've been looking for this instruction for a long time! Thank you so very much for sharing! I can't imagine why the vendors can't make the hairlines like this when ventilating the wigs.

  • @athenaspike Thanks! Yeah, they def need to start working on making these hairlines better in production. My guess is that they are being lazy or don't want to dedicate the money to figuring out how to make the wigs better...

  • Can you do this on a wig that has baby hair? Some of the wigs I have bought have the baby hair a little uneven so when I cut it, more of the lace is left out than I would prefer and I do not want to cut into the hair or pluck them out but I am be experimenting on one and just make my own baby hairs. I am missing my dark color hair now! But your technique is great.

  • @thereader84 Yes, you can do this with a wig that already had baby hair. My wig "tori" had some, but I added more and plucked other hair to make it look more natural. It made the wig look amazing :)

  • This is awesome thanks so much for sharing!!

  • @curlideva thx

  • Great idea! Brillant I'm subbing
