I really don't think xena and gabby were LOVERS lol. I do think they were really really close tho. I know how lesbians love to look for every single little subtext so they can believe what they want to be true but nah lol. Like i said i do believe they were best friends and extremely close and they even got jealous sometimes if one of them were close to someone else. I need more solid proof before i can say they were lovers tho.

@tyakack It's more apparent in the later seasons, watch the episodes Who's Gurkhan?, the norse mythology trilogy starting with the Rhinegold, and Soul Possession where their reincarnations marry. Plus they kiss several times throughout the series (Season 2, The Quest) and show that they are at least in a sexual relationship (Season 3, A Day in the Life and Fins, Femmes and Gems). They actresses believed they were soul mates

I remember one of the episodes i forget what it was called gabby kissed xena on the cheek and xena jumped right away like hey, wtf are u doin lol. Like i said i think they were close, as close as FRIENDS can be without crossing the lover line. They never french kissed they were more friendship i love you kisses.
