@izzynobre Let me explain please. EA bought West Wood and the rights to make Command & Conquer Red Alert and other C&C franchise.. But it's the way they treat their gamer and the way they developed each game. EA does not put any effort into their games it's all about money. So when game like C&C Generals came out within a year it was replace by Zero Hours and thus old game is quickly forgotten. Zero Hours also find themselves forgotten after C&C red alert 3 came out and so on..
And when I was a beta tester for C&C 4, we repeatedly told them the game sucked and needed to be redone; virtually every closed beta tester did. Every time a thread came up telling them how bad the game was, they closed it down. The game was released, and within a month its price tag dropped 30 dollars.

@TheVanGastel Never played 7 kingdoms but Age of Empire was good indeed. And yes, unfortunately it's much more about remaking graphics and makein repetetive gameplay, altough C&C3:Tiberium Wars was actually good.
The new 7KD games are just a big joke. Me and a friend still plays it online from time to time, and we are still getting amused by the AI, it still comes up with new suprises.
The game itself is very complex, I've not seen any game trying to do the same thing maybe except Europa Universalis 3.

200 more nuclear bombs. However, control calculations have shown, that the strategic aircraft of the USA in 1949 - could not strike 1950 the USSR irreparable blow yet which would make its incapable of resistance (Operation Dropshot)
I don't understand a thing. If Hitler was erased in 1924/1946, and according to EA Einstein was erased in 1927/1970-80, shouldn't Hitler come back since there was nobody to erase him? And the story would go as in reality, except for physics science?

ONE QUESTION, GERMANY ORDERED JAPAN TO ATTACK AMERICA BEFORE NAZI WAS FORMED, BUT THE ALLIES ALREADY TOOK CARE OF THAT WITH A ONE MINUTE-BATTLE, NOW RED ALERT 3, THE JAPANEASE RETURN WITH REVENGE.
They fucked up RA3 by killing Einstein and erasing all the cool weapons like nukes, prism tech, mirage tech, chrono tech instead we got that sucky vacum bomb and gay cryogenic weapons.
I like the first one the best, and I think I know why:
Most of the weapons should be able to make in real. I enjoyed RA2 too, but less than RA1: the weapons (mind control, weather control and other things) aren't as real as RA1.
RA3 has even more "sience fiction" weapons, but so much that I don't like it anymore

@gagmanship If you look on planet C&C, (google it), there are numerous fixes which have been made by the community so the older games can work on newer high spec machines. Good luck :)
@Lighthouse418 epic? Maybe. Classic? By all means no. The only reason I bought RA3 was to play as Empire. But when a game starts to trade story for cleavage and T&A, I seriously start to lose respect for it. RA3 is a fun game, but it will for ever flounder in the shadow of its grandfather.

Actually I think EA went back in time to get rid of Westwood. We've been living in the alternate universe this whole time and we don't even know it!

I like the first one the best, and I think I know why:
Most of the weapons should be able to make in real. I enjoyed RA2 too, but less than RA1: the weapons (mind control, weather control and other things) aren't as real as RA1.
RA3 has even more "sience fiction" weapons, but so much that I don't like it anymore

I hope Petroglyph starts making games like C&C soon, starting to go into withdrawal here. I must have completed Tiberian Dawn through to RA2 YR at least 50 times now, and while I crave some new stuff, you can't beat a bit of soviet ass whooping on RA1!!!!

Man,i Like this Game Because It Reminds Me of the Old Games That made the sequels, But I can't play red alert 1 :(my graphic card is to high end, it will stop at 1 point and say game has stopped responding, Pity, I nvr got to play a great game like this

@gagmanship If you look on planet C&C, (google it), there are numerous fixes which have been made by the community so the older games can work on newer high spec machines. Good luck :)

@Lighthouse418 epic? Maybe. Classic? By all means no. The only reason I bought RA3 was to play as Empire. But when a game starts to trade story for cleavage and T&A, I seriously start to lose respect for it. RA3 is a fun game, but it will for ever flounder in the shadow of its grandfather.

I wish Einstein would use his Cronosphere to go back in time and prevent EA from ever buying out Westwood and ruining the C&C franchise. To bad that ain't ever going to happen though...

These are the games I grew up on. Watching this video brings back so many memories. thank you for sharing... I am downloading Red Alert and C&C1 now as we speak, just played C&C 4 and man that game is a piece of crap.
