Hi! I just got a babe spinning wheel, but I'm pretty clueless ;o) Can you point me in the direction of a good book or video where I can learn how to spin?

I card the cotton and then roll it into punis. What I'm spinning here was cotton roving. I pull some off the ball, fluff it a bit, then I roll it some so it holds together while I'm spinning. I also prefer to spin cotton when the relative humidity is over 65% because of the fluff floating on the air.

Question, I have tried spining cotton but ended up covered in cotton flucc some of which got into my eyes and I spent days with -what felt like- having sand in my eyes. Very uncomfortable. So, I see there is no fluff from the cotton there flying around, does one have to do something to it before spinning?? Thanks!
