Hi jtcolfax! Nice to see this one. You look very different from the "dam you suck" video (still one of my favorites). I'm still following you with interest. Greetings, uair01
Wow. I played volleyball and basketball in there...and went to Watson Trophy dinners in there. Oh, and played ping ping and swam and golf. How sad to see it run down.
This place was flooded so horribly five years ago, as seen here, that it caused one partner owner to kill the others in a mass killing in Philadelphia. Last week it went on the market for 695,000 dollars, and this week I am assuming is underwater again, in the Binghamton Flood 2011.
@jtcolfax yes it did live in binghamton still. do you know of any other good sites in the binghamton area? currently im looking to get into an abandoned factory off court street to take some photos.
@Honda111093 I am gone from there,...I am wondering WHAT abanoned factory off court street you could mean, unless you are using the word FACTORY for something else. But I wont name a bunch of places for you all over the triple cities of Endicott, Binghamton and Johnson City. No one cares about the area, even in URBEX, but it truly is a quiet heaven for Urbex. You could do more there in a nite than you could do in Denver in a year. Drive around and look around, and also troll the net.
Cornell University is where the brain of Edward Ruloff is kept in a jar. I have been there and looked at it. there were sexy people in the class just next to it. The brain...it calls to me..............
depressing i remember goin there when i was a kid swimming, playing basketball, and wandering those hall.i really hope they do something with that place.it really is sad to see that place evertime i play golf there..
How completely depressing. We used to go to the annual Christmas party there when I was a kid, and each child got a toy from IBM. I went to summer camp there many years, and swam in the pool. My dad played softball there with his department team.
I remember being a little kid at the christmas parties, bowling on some saturday mornings and getting breakfast in the grille afterwords with my dad (IBM'er) and gramps. I remember that cold-ass pool too...Its just sad that its gone to crap, that place was such a staple of my childhood
I played basketball , shot pool , bowled , and won the Watson Trophy for golf at that course. Sad that someone else didn't buy the club and renovate it !
Thank you so much for sharing this. I knew every spot you walked around. I spent a great deal of my youth in that building and at the pool back in the 70s when it was the world to me.

How sad, Thomas J Watson would rollover in his grave to see what was a beautiful Country Club in shambels. How well I remember as a young child swimming in the pools. I had met Thomas J Watson too many, many years ago. What a shame that IBM deserted it's hometown. I could cry passing the buildings as they lose face.Shame on Corporate IBM!
If they tear this puppy down, I'll be raiding the place to reclaim just about any of it. Hard wood floors, windows, bricks. I'll be having it. Were you able to go into the house portion?
