  • one cannot leave this world without hearing this..........!!!!!!!!!!... thanks to the people who are sharing the sweetness

  • this is slower and sweeter than the album version :) thanks a lottt for sharing it on YT :) lovvee it a lot! :)

  • Truly, the music and the musician are immortal.

    Giri Girishankar

  • Only Carnatic music, in my opinion and experience, allows the human soul to scale the heights of sattvikam & spirituality. True medicine for the soul.

  • GREAT MS.. WE MISS YOU A LOT....

  • I heard this on a casette. It had this song and bhavayami raghuramam on one side. And bhaja govindam on the other side.It was sold for a very small price.

Liked it a lot. These songs filled my home with a kind of sanctity.Just awesome feeling.

  • I heard this first on LP - when phonograph - record players made by Philps in late 1960's Smt. Subbulakhsmi's famous combination LP has included, this along with Bhavayami Raghuram etc .It is indeed so nice to hear it again. I have been wanting to hear this for a while.

  • No one has yet brought out the full flavor of this great composition! The visuals are very interesting too!

  • @ rajsarath Yes, it is. And its one of my favourite ragas

  • Any clues on the raga? Brindavana Saranga??

  • @rajsarath The Raaga 's name makes an appearance in all Dikshitar Kritis.....:)

  • @vvenkat111 thanks very much :)

  • WONDERFUL SONG!!!!!!!!!!

  • A great vocal rendition by MS Subbalaxmi.

  • Wonderfully sung by MS and Nithyasree Mahadevan's version of this same song is superbly executed by her.

  • So many memories. This used to be the second part of the cassette and used to play when my father used to an elaborate pooja every saturday. The smell of all kinds of liquids, santhanam, camphor, incense sticks, variety of fresh flowers, sambrani and this song.. we used to be in a dream world in that darkly lit room!

  • @krishnanjiyer Exactly what I remember

The second part of the cassette and now-a-days they do not bother to put it on the same cd
