@TheSpiceify well there are a couple of main differences. Firstly, the tempo. Usually the tempo of D&B is 175bpm. Whereas it is alot slower in dubstep, usually 140bpm. The easiest way to tell this in a song is from the drumbeat. In D&B you will tend to notice that the kick snare pattern is quicker and more progressive than dubstep. D&B relies much less on the 'drop' than dubstep does. I guess the final major difference would be that D&B is often more 'fluid' i.e. the bass rolls more.. yeah.
