I was fifty feet away watching that happen. It was sweet as hell, unfortunately it ended that safety's career, and ability to use his right arm. It severed a main nerve in his shoulder. Robinson consequently had the video removed from that year's highlight real when he found out.

That was a huge hit on the minnesota safety. I think Michael Robinson and Troy Smith were alike in so many ways. They both were big strong QBs that could take off and score. Also, they could throw the ball very far. I think Michael Robinson could have had a shot at the Heisman Trophy.

micheal robinson was one of the most versitile players in psu history he played ss wr rb qb kr pr cb he isnt good enough to be a def player as this level of play hell he'd be lucky to ever be a full time starter for any team,, and he not big enough to play fullback

That was a huge hit on the minnesota safety. I think Michael Robinson and Troy Smith were alike in so many ways. They both were big strong QBs that could take off and score. Also, they could throw the ball very far. I think Michael Robinson could have had a shot at the Heisman Trophy.

i love the 9ers too, but before we found shaun hill was a good qb i was pushing for robinson to be the qb, he is such a badass with a rocket arm. and that hit right there paralyzed the defender, so nuff said with his power running hes a good #2 back i think. hes always getting tackles on the special teams as well. he can def play. and i watched him play at penn state cuz that my fav college team

Owens had to have surgery after this, it was a shoulder injury, although it ended his career. I'm a PSU fan and I'm glad he's ok. I love big hits but I don't want anything to happen that would seriously hurt them. Especially like what happened to Adam Taliaferro

both guys lowered their shoulders and were looking for contact, just unforunate that someone was injured. i remember him beating the crap out of my friends during our homecoming game. he also played DB back in high school. my best friend was our starting RB and took some nasty shots from him. Robinson's no slouch, he'll look to make contact. And he is a huge guy. I woulda cut him instead of going for the highlight reel shot like owens did but hindsight's 20/20 as always.
