People who think cls has some huge advantage over rapier in bossing are either butt hurt that they got the wrong wep or stupid. Rapier is better for bossing slayer and pvp. I had cls at first then i got a rapier and im never going to use the cls again. Any one who thinks otherwise is an idiot. Anyone who knows how to soul-split flash and actually wants to pvm seriosuly neeeds a rapier.

I agree with what Fangzor is saying. Rapier is definatly better for lower def and has a generally higher dps were as LS is better for high def. Maul is more of a specialty item and is the best in those situations e.g. pking, waterfiends, td's, solo sara gwd and just playing around at cwars and things. If you came to this video because you are about to buy your first Chaotic and want some info on your choices obviously it depends on what account you have but Rapier is a clear winner :) Great vid!

it all depends on the armour and whats the armour's weakness for example you wouldn't use slash on ganodermic armour so you wouldnt use cls but rapier would be best for that situation becuase the armour is weaker on stab attacks so in my opinion stay dungeoneering until u get them all.

you also have to remember that if full void melee increases accuracy by 15%, then it will increase the accuracy MORE for MAUL than for the rapier. With this said, full void + maul has a bigger effect than full void + rapier.

it also depends on the defence of the opponent, for a low def opponent the dps would be higher with a wepon that has a less attack bonus and a higher strength, for a opponent with a high def, the weapon with the higher attack bonus and lower strength would have the higher dps.

Fangzor, on a Black demon task seeing how the Black Demon is weak to both crush and slash. What would be a better weapon to use. Maul or Longsword. The Longsword has a 170 Slash bonus with my gear. (Slayer Helm, Dboots, Bgloves,Prosolyte,ROW=P,Sws Cape, and a dragon defender) While the Maul has a 189 Crush Bonus With the same gear minus the Dragon Defender. the maul isnt really used to be an "only" weapon, it should get used as a finishing-weapon for pvp or something because its like an ags hit without special attack usage, but great test, it really helps alot!
