It sounds like shite... and there just ins't much difference between the high and low. In fact, it sounds like it isn't even amplified. It sounds like someone is kicking a 2x4.

I made one! Looks great! Put a passive seymour duncan bass pickup in..... but it buzzes and hums quite a bit.... suggestions?

guys, thanks a bunch for the inspiration! helped me design my own stomp box with a 500k vol. & 50k tone pot. I used a 47k orange drop cap in between and it really gives a sweet tonal sound to it. Again... Thank you... I think I will be adding another pickup in my stompbox and maybe a gibson style switch box using a fender strat single tone/vol. wiring spec but with gibson cap specs. Can't wait to try it out.
