    thank u !

  • crazycyberkid thanks alot. 1 years ago, i worked at hairsalon in sydney australia, now i live in South Korea. in fact, if there are lots of clients wanted me cut their hairs, i may work at Sydney still now. i think, my cutting ability is not as good as the hairdressors in sydney, their cutting ability is so greater and so faster speedy . have your haircut to them! so i came back to korea. i forever will live in korea. anyway, someday, i wish i could cut your hair!!! seeya~~

  • @SWITCHSCISSORS thank u for your reply... its a shame to know that you are in Korea now.. however do you still remember any saloon names which i can go to.. that can cut hair the way you do? i would appriciate it :) i would have loved if you were still here though.. so yes.. hope to hear from you soon ... seeya ~~ ! :)

  • crazycyberkid ~~thanks alot~. it's a shame i can't cut your hair. since 1 years went, i still rememember .... as a brand salon, TonyGuy salon in Bondi and as a asian salon, Kim SunYoung hairsalons in Townhall and Strathfield. and if you visit any japanese hairsalon, you can get it. • Oh, I've got another question, What do you ask to your barber when you want this kind of cut? Just layer it ? Cause my hair is super thick and long like this man's before the finished product.

  • xf0bulous ~~~~ thanks alot. as you know, there are different technique to be used depending on hair- texture(coarse or soft or curly or straight or damaged) and hair-density(thick or thin) and face shape(round or square or oblong..) and even skull shape and eyes and nose and lip shape as well as weight and heignt.

  • i think you had better say just midium-layered haircut(the best way is show this kind of picture) and ask best suitable hairshape based on this picture's hairstyle. if a hairdressor is professional, he/ she has a high tuition and skills to make best job by just a word comments from clients. i hope you to get your wish. have greater days seeyA~

  • racertaz08 thanks alot. there are numerous layered hairstyles. I have be cautious in telling what do i recoomend. as we need to measure body shape for buying or making clothings or dresses, we need to check client's hair and head and figure condition for making haircutting and so on.

  • You are so good!!! Your technique is amazing. By the way, what is the best shampoo and conditioner for Asian natural thick wavy hair that you recommend? What is the best way to layer this type of hair to achieve Korean/Japanese hairstyles? I've also notice during hairstyling, blow drying the hair is always needed before using waxes, hairspray..etc. Does this damage the hair if we do this everyday? Thanks much :)

  • sevenjoseph ~~ thanks so much. i recommend Redkern that has various kinds of shampoo and conditioner, among them, you can have one as your favorite. i think, every layered hairstyles is nice depending what kinds of face and head shapes, that is, having the layered hair that is best suitable for the people is the best way and choice. and according to our favorite, we may need to have blowdrying our hair. you can have wax -styling without hairdrying.

  • and before using them, if we apply hair-product(that has a role of heat-protection) before we use hair -dryer, we can have less damage to hair than we don't apply. with whatever electrical hair-tools, damage happens when using them everyday. we must keep it in our mind for our hair is as valuable as our family. i'm sorry for replying your comment. have greater days seya

  • This is an awesome haircut!, and the best hair stylist i have ever seen!

i always wanted something like that.

I have a question i hope you can help me out!

Do you know how i can have my hair like Kim Bum?

Do i need to tell my hairdresser to cut my hair in layers or something??

Or how can i achieve the haircut like this guy in the video?

    I have medium long hair

    Thanks in advance!

    Greets from Turkey

  • xFantasyartx~~ at first thanks alot.

is Kim Bum t you say a korean actor? isnn't he? his hairstyle is so good , i think. in order to have his style, you need to layered cut. as you know. there are lots of layered hairstyles with length. if you want the exactly hairstyle, you need to have counselling the style you want having enough time, one day before you have haircut is best. i think, he/she want to see the picture you want for he/she want to do best haircut without mistakes.

  • in fact, this is my favorite one that i ask my clients to show me the picture they want . this make me very comfortable during haircutting and do better job than the hairstyle in the picture(this mean i can do suitable haircut for his apperance with maintaining the hairstyle they want and before cutting , i suggest them complement- factor for beingsuitable for them with the style thy wish. i wish you could have Kim Bum style or the guy hairstyle in this video. have greater days~

  • Yes he's a Korean actor.

Thanks for your help ill show him a picture, i will try to make an appointment and let you know the result :))

  • xFantasyartx ~~ seeya~~~~~~~~

  • damn he works fast.

  • shahruledree ~ HI~~ I live in South Korea~ thanks your comments and concern. in fact, I don't intend to do kung fu haircut, the more i have experience, the more i have such a fast haircut. in fact. chinese peoples and chinese students says to me ' it's great skills'.

    have greater days seeya

  • ongmygosh12 ~~ hi~~

you may know, there are different types , density and textures of people's hair , so there are many ways to thin it out as professional views.

  • if i must say one best tip, you must thin it out one time on middle of the hairstrand , another on 1cm away from the end of it grasping each hairstrands(1.5 cm X3.5 cm) in previous cutting angle from top area, next to it ...continue on it downwardly to nape area and thin it from top area, next to top area continue on it to front area and continue on toward side areas from top area over surly seeing and checking hair-reduction. i wish you are used to using it easily after a few efforts.

  • ongmygosh12 ~~ hi~~

    what's mean ' cuzz'

    you mean frizzy?

    seeya

  • im gonna get my hair layered and i was wondering how do u layer hair?

  • DizNBoiAz~~ HI~~

    SORRY FOR LATE.

in my case, I RECOMMEND layered cut with several pictures from magazines after hearing clients wish.

    have cool days~

  • There are no good hair places in Toronto refer me to some high end place

  • misakisheraz~~ hi~~

SORRY FOR REPLYING. i'll let you know it sooner. have greater days seeya

  • And I always like to have Front hair to cover my forehead, but every time i ask hairstylist to thinner my hair.. its end up the hair infront of my forehead become too little to cover my forehead.. so how can i tell them? just layer or leave it?

  • extremeee~~~~ hi~~

you had better ask leave the hair-length of forehead and if it feel heavy, you ask a little layer or slicing or deeppointing( in my opinion, at this point, hairdressors' sense is very important whatever techniques he/she uses. i think, if you ask this, he take a cautious attitude and cut your the hair of forehead not to do mistakes.

i wish you could solve your problem ~

    seeya ~

  • Nice haircut, anyway whats the different between thinner and layer hair? I always told the hairsylist to thinner my hair and its always turn to those that not i expected(SHORT N UGLY). I've round face and big head, how can i tell the hairstylist? Different between thinner and layer?

  • extremeee~~ hi~~

thinner or thinning means reduce hairdensity with thinning scissors so wr ong use with thinning scissors turn to

not good results if right use results in good results.

  • when even using thinning scissors, we hairdressors need to analyze hair texture such as thick or thin or wavy or demage hair and sparse or dense especially hairline on forehead , sidebburn, nape area or according to the basic haircut is layer or gradation(with weight), how to use thinning scissors is different.

Layer means ,as the oppsite of solid(one length) and gradation(has a weight), a lightness.

  • wow, i wish i had a barber like u around where i live. Now U definitely know how to cut hair. They always mess up mine and thats why i usually cut it myself

  • bloc22~~ thanks comment~~

i wish you have your nice barbers ~

  • is it normal to bring in pictures of the haircut you want into a hairdressers?

    great video btw

  • OnCall101Villa thanks comment~

bringing the pictures we want in hairsalon makes the time saved and accurate results come true~~

    have great days

  • i know switchscissors answered this comment already but it's not really common, but it's really worth it afterwards cuz most hairdressers CAN make ur hair look really similar to what u want if u take the actual picture. If u don't though..... some people can mess ur hair up prettyyyy badly

it's probably safe to go to switchscissors without a pic though cuz he seems really good.

  • wow your amazing youve gotta have carpultunnel or something cuz you cut frekin fast haha XP i wish you could cut my hair when you move to the u.s try dallas texas? :D

  • lilazndomie ~~thanks comment~~

i wish i work dallas texas in U.S FOR you and cut your hair

    have great days seeya then

  • Hey I really like your style of cutting hair!

    your really great!

but I was just wondering how would I tell my barber to have hair like that ones? like would I say

trim it really thin with layers at the top showing length in my under layer and keep side burns and mullet long?

  • J0EFully~~~~ thanks comment~~ all you have to say is that you want to get layered cut with irregular-line cutting on top area ,keep the sideburns and get suitable layered hairstyle for your image. and if you bring the similar pictures you want, it's great.

    have great haircut~ seeya

  • so friggin sick dude!!

only barber i;ve seen so far that can hold two scissors while perfectly cutting someone's hair without accidentally stabbing the guy with it!

    great job!!

wish there was a barber like you where i live..

i needa get my hair layered again! T.T

  • ipfreely000 , thanks great comment~~

    How to get this?

just say layered that best suitable to my face shape? Is this salon?

How if they dont have any idea?

Btw I have a heart shaped face.

  • andrew070004 ~ thanks comment

all you have to do is that just saying layered that best suitable to my face shape in hairsalon. i think, experienced pro hairdresser can , for though a heart shaped face you have, in there different kinds exists. that is, there are several factors to be considerd in haircut , so hairdressors' experience for haircut and insight for client's head and face, even overal apperance. in that, i amit i'm lack.

    have happier days seeya

  • O yeah. How many inch should i have before i go to the salon?

coz i have a 1.3 inch hair for now and a trim cut at the back from barber's cut

  • where are you at present time ? like where are u cutting thesee hairs ?

  • IllustratoZubehor ~~ thanks comment i'm Sydney,Australia.

    have nice days

  • I want to get this haircut but I dont know what to tell the hairstylist :(

  • buidoitieutu hi~~ all you have to tell the hairstylist is that you want layerd hairstyle which is suitable for your head and face features. if the hairstylist has much experience in haircutting or well-done known for peoples. he/she can do best for you more than my job. i wish have cool haircut

  • thts exactly the same problem i have .. lmao

i like soooo love this hairstyle just dont have a fkin clue wot to do to get it ..

  • cool i want my hair like that but i dont know how to explain it to the people that cut it, should i just say layered hair????

  • Goldenboyfoxx thanks comment~~~ because every hairdresser can do layered haircut, you only ask the layered haircut which is best suitable for your face and head features. as you know , there aren't the exact same faces and head . i wish you have nice hairstyle

  • i want you to be my hairdresser!

  • igstayo ~~ thanks comment~~

i'll try to effort for better haircut .

    have amazing days ~ seeya~

  • I wish there are stylists like you here in Toronto. Few stylists can actually do an asian mohawak/layers.

  • senseh(teacher in japanese)......for the top and the sides....u did point cut or blunt cut? i couldn't really tell...but to me it seems u use both techniques...,top is sometimes blunt and point cut and for the sides is point cut

  • joraine88~~hi~

it depend on the texture and what i and client want to have.

point cut for light and natural blend between hairs.

in fact, the hair textures and density( also those of the part of head is not exactly same) of everyone is not exactly same.

in case of me. during i cut, i depends on my intuition and feeling about hairs that was cut, is cutting, and will be cutting.

  • this is obtained long experience, you know well. if i suggest , at first, learn basic throughly as well as theory. and then you must watch your senior hairdressors' how--to-use, as best education.

    have good days seeya~~

  • ur advice has helped me alot...thanks for the information....one of my friend say....i can use this free time to practice and perfect my basic skills...and for advance....it can be learned in the future....thanks ya ^^

  • you got it as the best way ^^ .see ya~
