The amazing thing about this is that Laura was as sick as a dog during this show. You can see her wiping her nose sometimes when she spins around -- but you don't even notice it until someone else points it out, it's so well-covered! Amazing she can sing that well under so much!

@selty just watch. Elle changes. She's ditzy but she is smart and when she puts her mind to things dedicated and gets it right. This is basically Elle's journey from a ditzy sorority girl to a genuine woman who finds a lot out about herself.

@selty Hey, no problem. Just try skipping to the middle. I don't see how she's sditzy from this scene alone, but like I said differences and opinions are fine it's what make us unique. There is this scene during the song 'Chip On My Shoulder' that she's talking with Warner and Emmett tells her he's just standing in her way and she realizes this and here eyes open and she gets better and smarter. It's really the major turning point for her in the musical.

I get that she had that under the shower cap and robe but how did she get the stuff off w.o us seeing and slide down the pole in like 2 seconds. Elle had a bunch of girls who were standing around her so she has like 15-20 seconds to rip off that magnetic dress and pull the other dress down but the girl on the pole had less...

I wish more theater people liked this musical! No one gives it a chance but this is actually one of my favorites. The music is excellent, Laura Bell is so talented, and honestly the musical is better than the actual movie. It's a great upbeat musical! I wish I was blonde so I could be Elle!
