god, it still gives me the chills... love that line delivery and that turn.. oh boy oh boy oh boy... "My name is the Master"...
I dont know why people find the screaming annoying, really - i think it's kind of nice to hear how well it's being received over there, all things aside.
gives me the chills every fucking time I hear it, followed by the roaring applaus... god, it's good to be a whovian these days, we're not alone anymore.
Absolutely, he's number one. He's the Moriarty to the Doctor's Holmes... Lex Luthor to the doctor's Superman.. his equal in every way.
I'm glad Simm is coming back - I thought he didnt want to do it more than once, because he apparently gets bored easily (been there, done that - no new thing amongst artists, and not necessarily negative either), so I'm happy to see him return.
Wouldnt have had a problem with Derek Jacobi staying on for a year or two, though, before simm took over.
This is clearer audio than any other trailers on here! =] Can't wait for the special! ^_^ Wish the BBC would release this trailer officially. Its isn't fair that only the people in comic con got to see it - haha, the trailer should've been shown in Wales! =]
Forget the institution stuff, it's a BBC product! the americans arent paying the licence fees, so why do they get it first? that makes me ill...
on the other hand, if the show can get bigger in the US, it'll be good for us fans in europe, since it's more likely to stick around if it's a huge hit.
All I'm trying to say is that the British relate to it more. I mean surely the Americans don't know what a Police Box was, or understand the cockney accents. It was made for us, by us. Which ever way you look at it, it's a British show. The Americans clearly want to make a profit out of something they couldn't match up to in a million years of trying.
I agree entirely. I didnt mean to sound like I did not.
Definitely a British institution - one that the americans have been laughing at for 30 years and now all of a sudden want a piece of. Ahhh, the irony =)
(I dont mean the actual fans who've always been here, but the casuals who have pointed at it and laughed at the wobbly sets, etc)
Whether it's a police box or just a plain telephone booth, I'm not sure that matters.. i mean atleast THAT would go across, even if it's got police written.
this will be an explosive christmas

YES! I shouldn't exactly be happy that the Master is coming back, but he's my favorite villian besides the Daleks.

I agree. Doctor Who is a British institution. It should have been shown here before it was shown anywhere else.

Excellent! The sound has been muffled in other videos.
I wonder who that chap behind Sylvia is?
