@Jboned91 true dat. The IW engine still uses the technique used in CoD2 to limit the travel distance of the shot. I feel retarded playing with shotguns in CoD4, but it gives a good thrill. The shot has a pattern that is a mid term between realistic and hollywood buckshot. It is sort of dense, but it disappears after a very short range.

In MW2 they went "full retard" by making the pattern a complete joke. Even in CS I can deal good damage from 3x the shot travel limit distance they implemented.

The problem with the AA-12 is that it takes 2 rounds to kill someone BUT if you just hold the trigger you only hit with the first and third round and miss with the second. I usually just hold the trig and of course my ammo runs out pretty quick since it takes 3 shots to hit someone with 2 rounds to kill them. I still think it's BS that a Spas only takes 1 shot 90% of the time. They're both 12 gauge shotguns.

dude, i competely agree with you, you need to use the aa12 withOUT scavenger first to really get the feel of ammo conservation, but once i got the gun to grow on me, i started using scavenger with it, reason being that one shot is never enough against painkiller, so lately, ive taken to firing half a mag into a single person all the time for PK check. nice job on the accuracy.
