  • so so beautiful-3

  • i still love this song until 2day..

  • i miss her voices...

    and i miss the Sundays!!!!

    :((

  • there's no limit to listening to music, if it's good I'll listen.

  • I saw them in Chicago on this tour!

  • Joy, joy, joy, where is that voice nowadays?!?! We need her back so badly. Simply beautifula nd amazing band.

  • The first song I heard from them was "Wild Horses" from the movie Fear. Loved that scene!

  • my favourite love song ever

  • What a voice.

  • When I grow up I want to marry Harriet Wheeler. I know she's in her forties so I better grow up fast! Her voice is definitely how angels must sound like

  • the most underated band ever ever. immaculate song writers. It would be so nice just to have a decent video of them. Is there such a thing in existenece?

  • Gorgeous stuff. A very under-appreciated band.

  • The Cardigans are another really good contemporary group to The Sundays

  • i've been on a Sundays jag for about eleven years now! Is it possible that the Sundays fan base has actually grown while they've been away?

Even if the Sundays never return, i'm appreciative to have discovered this wonderful band and that angelic voice.

    thanks for this video!!

  • I totally love this song!!=)

  • Come back Harriet. So deep, such a sweet voice.

  • Someone good really needs to tab this version out.

All I know is there is a capo on 4th fret but I completely forgot the rest

  • Hey, I ended up figuring it out and I'm not that good!

  • I miss them. I saw them at the Mayan theater in LA a long time ago. They were stellar.

  • wow

  • such a lovely voice..

  • Beautiful version, lucky to have seen them live (I never did), thanks for posting. Viacom/MTV can F themselves - they nailed me for using a Sundays song as background in a personal slideshow of my baby daughter...like right I'm going to profit from that. Post it anyway!

  • Man, I really really really loved that black and white acoustic version. That's such a bummer.

  • I saw them in Philadelphia in Nov. of 97 and her voice when she sang this song actually made my eyes tear up from the sheer beauty of it.

Since then, only one other singer (Bjork) has been able to do that to me.

It breaks my heart that we will apparently never hear that voice again.

    So sad.

  • I wish she was sing to me every night.

  • i doubt that she'd want to sing to a knob like you.

  • she has better things to do

  • Like you'd know; why so mean? Respect.

  • I'm new wave/alternative listener since the early 80's, and I say all OUR women KICKED ASS!!! The Sundays, Strawberry Switchblade, Xmal Deutschland, Siouxsie & The Banshees, etc...

  • I missed this version so much!!!! Thank you thank you

  • Okay all you closet male SUNDAYS fans, listen up: Being a fan of Harriet and the SUNDAYS does not in any way imply that you're gay. It just means that you appreciate truly good music. I just don't understand guys who think its fruity to listen to them. Enjoying a sexy female voice in your ear? Yeah, that's really gay.

  • Whoa! My thoughts are far from gay when I hear Harriet's voice or see her. Love and lust is more like it...for her. ;)

  • Love the Sundays. My wife loves the Sundays. Named my dog after Harriet. First concert I saw with my wife (then my girlfriend in 1990) Dallas, TX at the Arcadia. Incredible voice. Wish the Sundays would tour one more time....

  • texasgabe:

I know what you mean! She somehow has the feminine like 'sweetness', without the saccharine or agenda driven bs involved with the game of relationship. She is herself so much that whatever may be 'sexy' is a byproduct of our own imagination or dream of the ideal girl. She is giving a gift, here, in this song. It is just so beautiful I can (obviously) hardly say.

  • Deartexasgabe Watcha' mean !!...(CLOSET MALE FANS)!!..I'm 51,very male,-have fancied the shit out of Harriet for years and proud of it !! When my extremely male buddies listen to my Sundays CD's round my place,(parties etc.)whilst chuckin'beer down our necks,NEVER do I hear them say"Hey,Bazza this is Gay !! -Usually they say something like "Hey-This sounds Brilliant-Can I borrow your CD" To which I say--NO !! coz I never get them back !!

  • Couldn't agree with you more, buddy :-)

  • If it looks like an angel and sounds like an angel

    It must be an angel.

  • Saw them live about 11 years ago. The best band I've ever seen live...

  • Too beautiful

  • I loved them, then felt gay for loving them, and now love them more deeply than ever.

this is great music for everyone. nothing wrong with that!!

  • tenniseeum,

Been trying to reply to your channel comment you left me but it doesn't appear on your channel. Didn't see it till tonight. My appologies and thank you.

I don't have a gay bone in my body but I would say the Sunday's music is delightful and therapudic.

"A butterfly in the wind is drifting like I do." Wow! So simple and poetic!

    Don't miss Goodbye live.

    Take care

    Joe

  • Harriett, Dave & Co never fail. 04:21 of captivating bliss.

  • "When you're searching your soul...

    When you're searching for pleasure...

How often pain is all you find...

    But when you're coasting along...

    And nobody's trying too hard...

You can turn around and like where you are...."

I wish those words were in my Bible!

  • for a minute there, i thought i was in heaven

  • Thanks for posting this!! awesomeeeee

  • Yay, more harriet! That beautiful voice!

    thanks for a lovely listen.
