he is not roaring to scare he is calling for his pride. too bad they are probly locked up somewhere in tht zoo. <.< we shouldnt keep animals in zoo for our entertainment.
i know because thts not roar those are calls to communicate, to scare u he wouldnt be sitting down he would be pacing bk and forth around close to where u r to show u he is not afraid of some bag of meat and bones tht he would love for dinner lol.
i never heard a lion roar at a zoo. wish i could.

I never thought that The lions would roar there!! lol.... I've been there many times and havent seen em' roar yet!

I went today and they were sleep, when ever i go they are sleep. but the tiger sure did some roaring today
