In the title just put 70,000 yen a month. Lol when I saw the title I was like WAAAH?!? And I expected to see one of the largest apartments in Tokyo. That's like a penthouse NY apartment price. But I guess that's just me. lol...
the standard is higher in japan so you earn more money etc, so its not as bad as it sounds :P, also when you go home you got alot of money you can spend on stuff you want :P
In parts of Canada the rent can be much higher if you wanna live near where the activity (school, job, social) is. I live in Vancouver - a one room apartment with minimal amenities in the city in an okay neighborhood is more than $1000 in rent a month.
what prefecture is this in? how many mats? or sq meter? do you still have the website you got it through? i am looking for 1k apartments for around 70-80k yen
first things to do in japan ... 1. go to tokyo . 2.play monster hunter ;)

Pretty reasonable, actually. In Toronto or Vancouver, you'd get a very similarly sized place for that price (although much crappier by comparison).

astralninja1 4 years ago
um - you'll have to chexk your own exchange rates... but a few months back $100Yen = $1AU..
so $70,000YEN = $700AU a month
as we speak - the aussie dollar is almost the same as the US$ ($1US=$.90AU) - so very close to $700US a month also.
